Clothing pantry

Accepts new or gently worn women's wor-ready clothing and accessories, along with new personal care products. Clothing includes items for various jobs, scrubs, business casual items, polo shirts, formal businesswear, overalls, work boots, etc. Accessories include shoes, handbags, safety goggles, briefcases, scarves, new makeup, and new hosiery. It is requested that garments arrive clean, on hangers and ready to wear. Plus size clothing is particularly needed. Also accepts donations of items such as gas cards, phone cards, bus passes. Drop off is conducted in a contactless manner.

Offers low-priced clothing, household items, electronics, books, toys, furniture and collectibles.

Accepts donations of the following new and used items in working condition: clothing, bedding/linen, furniture, kitchenware (cookware, dishes, silverware), office furniture, arts/crafts supplies, books/magazines, safety helmets, cleaning products, small appliances, canes/walkers, eyeglasses, wheelchairs, cell phones, computers (All hard drives on the donated computers are wiped clean), office equipment, musical instruments, sports equipment, toys, videos/DVDs/CDs, infant/child car seats, and household, gardening, and work tools. Will only accept Flat Screen T.V.s no big back televisions. Donated items are resold to support Goodwill programs.

Connect residents to economic, social and educational opportunities. Ruth's Boutique provides hygiene items. Provide educational opportunites such as Bridges out of Poverty, Getting Ahead in a Just Gettin' by World and Mental Health First Aid and well as Lunch and Learn sessions with local professional organizations.

Provides emergency food, weekly to go lunch; activities for youth; aid for families (shelter assistance and other referrals); aid with utility bills (gas, electric); emergency services provided according to proof of need; diapers; assistance for seniors 62 and older (utilities, rent, prescriptions, etc.).

Accepts most used clothing and household items in good condition such as clothing, linens, household furnishings and kitchen equipment, books and entertainment items, toys and games, furniture, appliances and recreational equipment. Free home pick-up is available.

Accepts donations of the following NEW items: maternity clothing and items for babies and young children, including clothing (sizes for newborns up to 24 months), crib sheets and blankets, and personal care supplies. Does not accept car seats or furniture or any used items. Donated items are never resold.

Provides interview and business appropriate clothing, shoes and accessories free of charge and on a one-time basis to women seeking employment, promotion or advancement. Provides one week supply of work appropriate attire when job is obtained.

Donations of new and used clothes are welcome.

Offers food once a week and clothing for all sizes Also has back to school clothing, back to school supplies, coat drive, Thanksgiving outreach, Christmas outreaches, and Easter outreach. These are open to individuals who have registered for HELP House services; some outreaches may require an additional registration process (for example, number of children needing Christmas presents, etc.)

Knox County Head Start is partnering with Bottoms Up Diaper Bank to help families in our community by hosting a diaper drive. ALL donated diapers stay right here in Knox County and any monetary donations will go directly to the diaper bank.

Plans, coordinates, and develops services for older adults. Provides funds by contracting with organizations that provide direct services to older adults and people under 60 with a disability. Monitors contracted providers and advocates for needs of older adults. Programs include: Senior Community Services, Family Caregiver Support, Passport, Assisted Living Waiver, Ohio Home Care Waiver, Specialized Recovery Services, Senior Farmer's Market Program, Wellness Programs, Long-term Care Ombudsman.
