Counseling helps disaster victims cope with their losses, establish priorities for their immediate future, identify and work with psychological roadblocks and develop the positive skills they will need to feel in control of their lives and begin to recover.

Replacement funds may replace up to (but not exceed) the client's monthly allotment of food assistance. Funds are sent by electronic transfer to the recipient's Ohio Direction Card.
