Delaware County EMA implements mitigation projects and planning to reduce the effects of disaster in Delaware Co.
Provides emergency management services for areas where the city or state has made a public declaration. Services provided depend on the situation. Coordinates training and drill exercises for various response agencies. Provides county wide coordination of disaster and recovery efforts between government agencies and non-profits. Plans, coordinates and provides services for disaster preparation, response and recovery. Provides various trainings to organizations and individuals to prepare for disasier.

The Mercer County Emergency Management Agency leads and supports the county in disaster mitigation.

Coordinates planning, response, recovery, and mitigation related to any disaster occurring in Allen County. Maintains the county's haz-mat and decontamination team as well as the county's Emergency Operation Center (EOC), urban search and rescue team, and regional bomb squad. Establishes and updates the county's Emergency Operations Plan and coordinates training exercises for various response agencies.
