Provides waste management services for the township. Includes garbage and large item removal, recycling, and dead animal pickup.

Contracts with a private company to provide regular pick-up of houeshold trash and curbside recycling. The city provides pick-up of large trash items one day a year (such as large boxes, furniture, etc.). Does not pick up used tires or household toxic waste (such as car batteries, mercury, etc.). Leaves are picked up in the fall.

Offers special event locations for Appliance Collection, Computer/TV Collection, Household Hazardous Waste Collection and Scrap Tire Collection. Events change each year so please call ahead or visit website at www.wasteabate.org to verify event.

Tires not accepted at the collection facility. The District works with local townships to host tire recycling "round-ups" where residents can dispose of old tires right in their own community.

Investigates reports of illegal dumping, littering, and burning. Develops environmentally safe solid waste management plans to achieve Ohio's goals for waste reduction, recycling, and solid waste management in the region. Helps communities and businesses implement cost-effective and environmentally safe solid waste management practices. DOES NOT RECYCLE TELEVISIONS BUT GIVES REFERRALS TO AREA FOR-PROFITS THAT WILL RECYCLE THEM FOR A FEE.

Provides waste disposal and recycling services for the City of South Euclid.

Provides a collection center for Lorain County residents and businesses to properly and safely recycle or dispose of materials including household hazardous waste; scrap tires (listed separately); batteries; fluorescent bulbs and ballasts; electronic scrap; and old books as well as "curbside" recyclables including steel/bimetal cans; aluminum cans; glass bottles and jars; plastic bottles, jugs, and tubs. Offers information about methods for recycling other items such as appliances.
