Offers a community-sponsored program that allows residents to rake leaves into a pile on the side of the road (or the edge of their property) for pick up by a vacuum truck on designated days.

Provides improvement, and maintenance of all public works, buildings, grounds, parks, roads, streets, and all other public places in Olmsted Falls. Responsible for the collection and disposal of dead animals and wastes, snow plowing and salting of local streets. Wood chips are also available to residents. Provides maintenance and repairs for the City of Olmsted Falls' sewer lines. In case of basement flooding, will help resident determine if blockage or break is in the main sewer line (for example, the storm sewer in the street) or on private property (from the curb to the house). Can only address issues with publicly owned sewer line. The sewer line from the curb to the house is the homeowners' responsibility.

Provides a collection center for Copley residents and businesses to properly recycle clean paper, cardboard, aseptic containers (the waxy coated cartons such as from orange juice. milk, half and half), steel/aluminum cans, glass bottles and jars (clear, green or brown only) and plastics #1-2 (larger than 2" X 2").
Operates a yard waste composting facility at Cairns Road, Mansfield, across from the old Richland County Landfill. Accepts: brush, Christmas trees, shrubs, grass, leaves, trees limbs, and wood chips. No yard waste materials will be accepted greater than six inches in diameter. Materials will be accepted loose, in bulk or in paper bags. Any plastic or ties of any kinds must be removed and taken by resident. Call for disposal rates and compost for sale prices. Offers free Christmas tree recycling for all Richland County residents. All ornaments and tinsel need to be removed from the tree and drop off will be at any of the Richland County Solid Waste Authority’s Recycling Drop Off Box locations or outside the fence at the Yard Waste Facility located at 441 Cairns Road in Mansfield. Clear brush out of alley right-of-ways, trim or remove dead, dying, deceased, or hazard trees on city right-of-ways. Plant trees at request of Shade Tree Commission. Make necessary asphalt patch repairs, crack seal streets, monitor street opening permits from Codes & Permits, patch Water and Sewer street openings. Maintains signs in city limits. Inventory, repair, replace, and install signs. Paint centerlines and skip lines on streets in city limits, also paint turn arrows, crosswalks, and school zones. Maintain traffic signals, annual signal inspection and relamping, downtown street light maintenance. City does not maintain residential street lights, that is Ohio Edison. Picks up dead animals in the city limits that are in the street, not on private property. Clean up debris in the street. Maintain State Routes in the city limits. Mow State Route fields and islands, in the city limits, city right-of-ways, road sides, and guard rails. Water and Sewer maintenance is in the same building.
