Household sewage treatment systems are permitted and inspected to reduce the risk of infectious diseases transmitted by improperly or inadequately treated sewage.

Provides building inspections and issues building permits, responds to complaints about possible building code violations, and performs required point-of-sale inspections. Building codes are kept on file for use by residents.

Provides building inspections, code enforcement, and construction permits for the City of Highland Heights.

Provides a wide range of health-related services, including the following pool and spa licensing and inspection, food safety information, food service operations licensing and inspection, foodborne illness investigation, household water and sewage system permit and installation, safe housing inspections, animal bite tracking, tattoo parlor licensing, inspection and body art safety information.

Provides inspections, permits and licenses of food services, wells, septic systems, manufactured home parks and public swimming pools. Provides inspections of properties when issues affect the public’s health, such as water, sewage, rodents, garbage and other unsanitary conditions. Provides information about pest control, mold removal and lead prevention. Also conducts education sessions on the programs it administers. Does not provide on-site inspections for household mold.

The Delaware Public Health District Plumbing Unit inspects new plumbing in residential and public buildings and medical gas installations, to make sure that the installation meets the State of Ohio Code requirements.Plumbing Registration, Plumbing Permit and Medical Gas Forms are available on the website.

Issues permits to demolish, alter, or make major repairs to the whole or part of any existing building; to build new structures; to install new roof coverings, window replacements, siding, decks, or steps; to do electrical, plumbing, heating, or air conditioning work; to repair concrete or asphalt resurfacing or paving; and to grade or regard yard areas. Service includes inspections following work, prior to enclosure in walls, floors, or ceilings.

The authority of the Morrow County Health District's program extends over all commercial plumbing installations in the county. All plumbing contractors operating in Morrow County must register at the office.

The Mid-East Ohio Building Department is a state certified building department. The department issues plan approvals and inspects all building activity regulated by the Ohio Building Code in Muskingum County as well as a region which includes four additional counties, Coshocton, Guernsey, Morgan, and Perry.

Provides building inspections and issues building permits for new construction and alterations in the Village of Bentleyville. Handles complaints about possible building code violations and oversees the demolition of buildings for the village.

Provides building inspections and housing/building code enforcement for the City of Lyndhurst. Issues all necessary building permits for construction and renovations of structures within city limits.
