Provides a membership association for area health care institutions that focuses on maintaining financial viability of member hospitals, developing and addressing the future needs of the area's health care workforce and maintaining the health status of the community. Accomplishes these goals through research, political advocacy, and appropriate collaboration with other community organizations. Offers recommendations and physician referrals.

Miami County Family & Children First Council is a collaborative effort of child and family service organizations and community members striving to enhance services, resources, and the well-being of families. The Council meets bi-monthly at the Tri-County Board of Recovery & Mental Health Services 1100 Wayne St. Suite 4000 at 1:30pm unless otherwise notified.

Provides funding and oversight for community mental health services throughout the state. Reviews and certifies mental health service providers throughout the state.

Administers federal funding that provides medical, dental, and social support services to uninsured and underinsured persons living with HIV/AIDS. Facilitates the federally mandated Cuyahoga Regional HIV Services Planning Council, which determines community HIV health care needs, service priorities, and service funding allocations. Produces a Community Resource Guide listing medical, dental, and social service resources available to those living with HIV/AIDS in Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, and Medina Counties.

Provides local governments with technical review of subdivisions and zoning amendments. Generates population data and housing reports, manages community development block grant funding, and prepares land use, housing, and transportation plans. Acts as a repository for aerial photographs, soil data, traffic data, and land use information.

Serves in an advisory capacity to the city council and city staff. Provides citizens with additional avenues to communicate and become involved in the city's decision-making process.

Helps educate the public on local transportation resources, provides travel training, and conducts services to coordinate and improve access to transportation. Provides a 'Getting Around Huron County Guide' at https://www.glcap.org/programs/transportation/mobility-management/huron-county-transportation/. Guide includes a comprehensive list of transit providers and services in the county. Also covers basics of using public transportation, information on travel training, safety tips for pedestrians and other information.

Network of Central Ohio Genders and Sexualities Alliances (GSAs). Supports the development and maintenance of GSAs in middle and high schools through education, training and leadership workshops. Sponsors special events that serve as networking and relationship building opportunities for members of Ohio GSAs.

Works to improve the coordination of mental health services as well as alcohol and drug addiction services in Allen, Auglaize, and Hardin Counties. Allocates public funds to agencies to provide these services.

Manage and deliver coordinated transportation services to residents of Columbiana County. Provides transportation planning, rider training, trip brokerage and coordination, safe-driver training, and the coordination of all transportation options within the county. Specific attention to promoting accessibility, education and awareness to older adults, persons with disabilities, persons with low income, veterans and other underserved populations.

Provides research and planning to address the transportation, air quality, and water quality needs of Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain and Medina counties. The agency and its partners cooperatively develop and implement plans to ensure that travel throughout the region is safe, cost-effective and environmentally sound.

Promotes collaboration among public systems that serve children and families. Seeks to improve the functioning of children and to preserve the integrity of families in the community through a collaborative system for multi-need, multi-system families. Can involve all major public and private agencies as needed. Focuses on issues such as mental health and substance abuse, abuse and neglect, juvenile justice, developmental disabilities, youth employment, health and wellness, and school readiness.

This group recognizes the value and dignity of all children and their families. Our mission is to identify county needs, develop programs as needed and ensure continued efficient delivery for services to children and their families. We believe that through collaboration of families, and community agencies we will enhance the families ability to improve the quality of life.

Works to improve the coordination of mental health and addiction treatment services in Darke, Miami and Shelby Counties to better meet community needs and prevent any duplication of services. Informs the public of services available through outreach, newsletters, social media, radio, newspapers and presentations.

Develops financial resources for human services through an annual campaign and other programs such as planned giving, Combined Federal campaign, and year-round communication about United Way services and community needs. The Morrow County Drug Prevention Coalition meets monthly to review local data and plan effective prevention strategies to be carried out in Morrow County.

Provides information and resources to those dealing with food insecurity in the Fairfield County community. Coordinates, funds, and provides education to low-income families and individuals in our community about their ability to eat healthy on the limited funds they receive through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and provides education and training opportunities to everyone in the community in regards to hunger and hunger related health issues.

Provides prevention education, develops agency protocols to assists human trafficking victims, and provides grant funding opportunities for community service providers.

Plans, develops, and coordinates social services. Strives to empower people to meet cultural, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs. Focuses on the needs of adults dealing with the criminal justice system, youth facing adversity, people with disabilities, and adults dealing with long-term care.
