Provides information on sexually transmitted diseases and infections. Offers education on prevention, reducing risk and on specific STD/STIs such as HPV and Herpes. Operates a hotline that answers STI questions including transmission, prevention, testing and treatment.

Supports member agencies to increase the capacity of people to care for one another. Accepts grant applications from non-profit organizations in January. Grant funds are disbursed July 1 - June 30. Special grant funds may also be available throughout the year.

Does not fund, individuals, endowments or give capital grants. The Good Samaritan grant program (once a year) funds nonprofits up to $10,000 for "basic needs."

Provides speakers on cancer prevention and early detection to organizations. Builds relationships with community-based organizations and health care providers, schools, parks and communities to plan, organize and develop effective cancer prevention and early detection programs and activities. It is recommended Cervical Cancer testing (screening) should begin at age 25; Breast Screenings/Mammogram should start every year for Women between age 40-44; and regular mammograms should happen annually for Women between age 45-54. Women 55 and older can switch to a mammogram every other year.

Awards competitive grants to public charity organizations from the Foundation's unrestricted funds, field of interest funds, and from affiliated Supporting Foundations. Focuses on four opportunities: funds for innovative operations, funds for capital improvements, funds for targeted needs and community improvement project.
