Oversees and regulates zones designed to enhance business investment.
Administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, this program provides funds that are used for a variety of activities which primarily benefit low and moderate income residents of the community. Projects that are eligible include (but are not limited to) water, sewer, handicap accessibility at public buildings, sidewalks, street improvements, parks, and community centers.
Provides and administers the Community Development Block Grants. Works with the intent of assisting persons of low and moderate income, (regardless of their financial means) to live in a decent, safe, and sanitary environment by eliminating urban blight and detrimental living conditions. Provides funding for home rehabilitation. Common examples of housing services we have assisted with in the past: roofing and gutters, porches and stairs, water heaters, furnaces, exterior doors, and electric upgrades. The financial limit for an emergency rehab project is $22,500.
