Hosts events senior population as well as the Shelby community. Hosts Silver Sneaker's classes, Silver and Fit, and exercise classes for members and friends 50 and older. September-May there is a community meal that is open to the public for a nominal fee. The Center has a schedule of events, including bus trips throughout the year, that is available on the website and on the Facebook page (Shelby Community and Senior Center). Available for rental for small intimate gatherings or larger gatherings accommodating up to 200, receptions, showers, family reunions, graduation parties, etc.
Offers the lobby area of the Theatre auditorium for rent to small or large groups. Provides seating for over 300 people in the lobbies and loges, wooden bar and plenty of table space. Offers a stage which converts into a dance floor or banquet facility and ability for private movie screenings.
Offers the gardens and historic Tudor Revival Manor House at Stan Hywet for wedding ceremonies, receptions, and corporate events.
Offers state-of-the-art banquet rooms, auditoriums, executive meeting areas, high tech computer labs, multimedia facilities, beautiful outdoor grounds and convenient parking. 8,000 square feet of space and has a capacity of approximately 325 to 350 people. The large main room can be divided for smaller events. There is access to a caterer’s kitchen equipped with full commercial refrigeration.

Spaces include Hines Hill Conference Center, Stanford House Lodging, Stone Cottage, Happy Days Lodge, and various Education Center facilities.
