Families pay a down payment and a monthly mortgage payment, taxes and insurance to Habitat. Direct services include personal contact from staff and volunteers, home visits, one-on-one mentors, educational classes, sweat equity management, and ongoing communication and nurturing to ensure families' success as a mortgage-paying homeowner and self-sufficient citizen of the community.
