Boots To Business | United States Small Business Administration

Provides transitioning active duty service members training in how to start and grow a business. Offers a 2 day Introduction to Entrepreneurship workshop taught at a local military instillation which will provide an education on business fundamentals and an analysis on the feasibility and sustainability of the service member's business concept. Also offers an 8 week Foundations of Entrepreneurship course taught online via the University of Syracuse in which the service member will learn the fundamentals of developing a business plan.

Clients accepted in the program develop a plan for employment with a staff counselor that they meet with periodically during a specified time for follow-up. Services are time-limited. Services include transitional assistance from school to work or college for students who are graduating from high school.
