Opens the historic grounds of the Perkins Stone Mansion to the public to view the sheep that have returned to Mutton Hill. Features the sheep from Spicy Lamb Farm and volunteer Edie Steiner's border collies: Modibo, Rudy, and Lincoln. Offers access to this hillside in West Akron which was once home to 1500 Merino Saxony sheep that were owned by Col. Simon Perkins and shepherded by the abolitionist John Brown.

Provides guided tours of the Perkins Stone Mansion and John Brown House. Offers tours which highlights 1) the lives of Akron's founding family, their role in the development of the city and County of Summit, and the significance of history related to this historic farm property and 2) John Brown, the noted abolitionist who gave his life to end slavery, who lived a good portion of his life in what is today Summit County.

Provides a glimpse of 19th century Midwestern lifestyle in Clark County, Ohio through the 1854 home of Daniel and Catherine Hertzler, Mennonites from Lancaster PA, who were prominent citizens. Hertzler built a grist mill, a saw mill, a brick distillery and a whiskey distillery. The furnishings reflect the pre-civil War period.

Bear's Mill, built in 1849, is one of the few operating water-powered mills in Ohio. The mill is a rare historic landmark and grain is still ground into flours and meals today. Tours and special events are offered on the mill property year-round.
Visit a century-old City Hall and Marketplace that has become the new home for Clark County/Springfield's heritage. Priceless mementos have been assembled to open an exciting window on seven generations of fascinating history.
