Offers membership in the Cleveland Restoration Society to support the historic preservation work of the organization. Members receive publications (the magazine Facade and a monthly email newsletter called Perspectives), invitations to a wide range of special events (including tours of landmarks that are not generally accessible to the public) and other benefits.
Maintains Oak Hill Cottage with all volunteer help.
Provides services that include the Historical/Environmental Review Section and Relocation Section; services include technical assistance to Community Development Corporations as well as funding assistance for development projects and environmental health programs.
Encourages and promotes the preservation, maintenance, restoration and adaptive reuse of buildings, sites and neighborhoods that are of historic or architectural importance in Akron and Summit County.
