Volunteer group providing financial assistance through books sales and other activities for the library in the purchase of equipment and materials. Also volunteers for library-related events and projects.

Provides a clothing bank and toys, books, grooming supplies, diapers, baby furniture, shoes, and other goods for foster children and their families. Serves foster families, Youth in Transition, recently adopted children, and reunified biological families. Eligible families may obtain items up to four times per year. Assistance is customized to the needs of the child.

Offers a gift and used book store operated by Friends of the Main Library.

Provides a clinic where people can be screened for diabetes, high blood pressure, HIV, pregnancy, STD, and Body/Mass Index (BMI). May offer physical exams. Also provides opportunities to get information on health conditions through lectures and classes, and individual health coaching.

Featured speakers will answer unrehearsed questions from the audience. Addresses topics such as business, civil rights, government services, and nonprofit organizations. The Troy-Miami Public Library is an affiliate of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, an early literacy program for children under the age of 5. At no cost to the family, an age appropriate book is mailed monthly to the family's address.

Provides a performing choral singing group of children that consists of both a performing chorus and a training chorus. The performing chorus offers musical programs to the public locally, nationally and internationally.
