Ashtabula Maritime And Surface Transportation Museum | Ashtabula Maritime And Surface Transportation Museum

Ashtabula Maritime and Surface Transportation Museum overlooks the Ashtabula River, Lake Erie and the working harbor. Museum is housed in the foamer residence of lighthouse keepers and the Coast Guard Chief. They have seven rooms and an authentic pilot house from the Thomas Walters.

Films In Environments Favorable To Those With Disabilities | Autism Society Of Greater Cleveland

Provides the opportunity to view a current movie in a theater with reduced admission prices, the lights turned up and sound turned down, outside food permitted, and talking allowed during the movie. Goal is to make a space for those with a variety of disabilities (including autism) to see a movie. Films are generally G to PG rated and oriented towards youth.

Historical Society | Richland County Historical Society

Primary purpose is to preserve, share, and advance the knowledge of the history of Richland County; to advocate when necessary for the preservation of threatened historically significant resources; and to secure the safe management and protection of resources that come under its jurisdiction guided by national standards and best practices. Meetings provide programs which are of interest to local history buffs. Meets at Oak Hill Cottage Carriage House, 348 Oak Hill Place.

Historic Bear'S Mill | Darke County Parks

Bear's Mill, built in 1849, is one of the few operating water-powered mills in Ohio. The mill is a rare historic landmark and grain is still ground into flours and meals today. Tours and special events are offered on the mill property year-round.
