Narcan Kits | Compdrug

Community-based education on opioid overdose prevention, reversal, and opioid addiction treatment. Includes training on how to use Narcan and distribution of Narcan kits to participants.

Project Dawn (DEATHS AVOIDED WITH NALOXONE) | Allen County Health Department

Provides a naloxone kit to any community member. Naloxone is a prescribed nasal inhalant that reverses an opioid overdose. Kit includes 2 vials of medication, a small tip sheet on how to recognize an overdose, and where to access additional educational videos. Will receive instruction on how to recognize and respond to an overdose (as well as distinguish between different types of overdose) and how to administer intranasal Naloxone to reverse the opioid overdose. All training will be provided onsite or at a community partner location.

Provides hot meals to individuals and families in need. Also distributes test strips which can be used to detect the presence of fentanyl, xylazine, and many of their known analogs in a drug sample to reduce the number of opioid-related overdoses, severe injuries, fatalities, and other complications from contaminated drugs.

Fentanyl Test Strip Distribution Programs | Licking Memorial Health Systems

Fentanyl Test Strips are offered at Licking Memorial Urgent Care locations in Newark, Pataskala and Granville. Individuals may visit an Urgent Care and ask for the strips at the front desk. The test strips are provided with a contact number for Shepherd Hill, the treatment center associated with Licking Memorial Hospital. Shepherd Hill offers a variety of services for individuals who are struggling with drug addiction.

C-Harm-Ed - County Harm Reduction Education | Washington County Health Department

C-HARM-ED is a place where people who are affected by drug use can go for information, to be tested for hepatitis and HIV, to be immunized against hepatitis A and B, to get information on recovery services, for referrals to medical services, and to exchange used syringes for new sterile ones. Anonymity is guaranteed by the program. People who come in to the walk-in sessions are not required to give their names or any other personal information. No one will be asked why they started using drugs or to volunteer any information they aren’t comfortable providing, and there are no charges.
