Substance Use And Addiction Services | Knox County Community Health Center

Substance Use Disorder services include one-one-one counseling with a drug addiction counselor; administration of Vivitrol is available from a healthcare provider: Naloxone doses available to prevent overdose deaths. Counseling provides individuals with an opportunity to actively pursue emotional healing and personal growth, in a safe and non-judgmental environment. Although our difficulties are unique, we all face trials of many kinds. Facing these trials, with the support of a counselor, can be an empowering experience. Recovery Support Group SMART Recovery is FREE and is held Tuesday evening. Support group help people learn self-empowering tools and members will provide support for each other in recovery. The goal of SMART Recovery is for you to achieve a healthy, positive and balanced lifestyle so you can conquer new challenges. Groups are held at the Knox County Community Health Center - Mount Vernon, Ohio location (Health Department) in the Conference Room on Tuesday evening at 6 pm. This group meets for about an hour and is open to anyone, no matter where they are at in their journey to recovery. There is no need to pre-register, and there is no fee to attend the support groups.

Opioid Replacement Therapy | Compdrug

The Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) utilizes the integration of CompDrug’s medical and clinical staff to treat opiate dependent individuals on an outpatient basis. Outpatient services are scheduled during operational hours on an individualized basis depending on patient need. A working agreement with the Office of Veteran Affairs allows for Opioid Treatment and on-site access to a VA therapist for veterans.
