Offers behavioral health, therapy and case management services. They offer licensed professional at there centrally located office, at area schools and home based services. There strength-based, integrated approach to behavioral health and substance abuse provides high quality, innovative behavioral and substance abuse therapy and support.

Substance Use Disorder services include one-one-one counseling with a drug addiction counselor; administration of Vivitrol is available from a healthcare provider: Naloxone doses available to prevent overdose deaths. Although our difficulties are unique, we all face trials of many kinds. Facing these trials, with the support of a counselor, can be an empowering experience. Recovery Support Group SMART Recovery is FREE and is held Tuesday evening. Support group help people learn self-empowering tools and members will provide support for each other in recovery. The goal of SMART Recovery is for you to achieve a healthy, positive and balanced lifestyle so you can conquer new challenges. Groups are held at the Knox County Community Health Center - Mount Vernon, Ohio location (Health Department) in the Conference Room on Tuesday evening at 6 pm. This group meets for about an hour and is open to anyone, no matter where they are at in their journey to recovery. There is no need to pre-register, and there is no fee to attend the support groups.

Provides observation for up to 23 hours for evaluation of drug/alcohol abuse and provides drug testing for adults, mainly for employment purposes.

Offers a customized and comprehensive drug and alcohol treatment program for adolescent clients, age 14-18, and their families during treatment and recovery. Offers adult comprehensive drug and alcohol assessments and counseling. Emphasizes family involvement through 10 week multi-family groups and 12 week aftercare (relapse prevention) group.

Provides Chemical Dependency Assessment to determine appropriate course of treatment for substance abuse (alcohol and/or other drugs) and any other co-existing disorders. Assessments involve a one to two hour long interview. Will recommend and/or provide referrals to specific programs and services.

Program is for individuals addicted to opioids such as heroin, morphine, or prescription medications. All clients are required to undergo random urine drug screen and participate in intensive counseling sessions and other recovery activities.

Provides central intake services for individuals experiencing mental health issues or substance abuse.

Residential treatment for men. Facility is divided into a low and high intensity program. High intensity clients receive counseling every day. Low intensity clients are able to pursue employment and education opportunites outside the facility.

Intervention is provided to identify the existence of any substance abuse problems and subsequent needed services.

Community psychiatric supportive treatment. Provides intensive case management to severely mentally disabled clients and provides after hours emergency crisis intervention for their clients. Behavioral health assessment, counseling and therapy, medication management.

Urinalysis testing is used to determine the presence of alcohol and/or other drugs either by a Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) certified laboratory or by urine dip screen.

Conducts a comprehensive, diagnostic evaluation and assessment which identifies each client's problem. This assessment is used to recommend a method of treatment to best meet the individual's needs. Includes taking psychosocial information, diagnostic testing and collateral data from family, employer, etc.
