Substance abuse program provides diagnostic assessment, case management, individual sessions, Intensive Outpatient (IOP), aftercare and relapse prevention services, and Case Management Services for Mental Health as well.

Womanline provides a variety of services to individuals who have experienced trauma such as domestic violence, violent crime, sexual assault. These services include Low barrier mental health treatment Sexual assault support group for anyone over the age of 18 who has experienced this victimization Trauma focused mental health counseling for all ages

Provides interactive classroom presentations to help students recognize in themselves and others the signs of depression, bipolar disorder, and the warning signs of suicide. Provides information about how to obtain help from a mental health professional. Programs are delivered by trained professional instructors. Meets requirements of House Bill 123.

Offers community-based meetings and discussions for underrepresented minority populations in Lorain County. These meetings will address these groups' unique challenges in accessing mental health services and provide valuable information and resources to overcome these barriers. Focus on psychoeducation, group discussions, and hands-on activities to increase knowledge, reduce stigma, and improve access to mental health and substance abuse services.

Education course teaching youth about mental health conditions.

Provides an experiential learning program for people with any serious mental illness who are interested in establishing and maintaining their wellness and recovery. Consists of ten two-hour units and is taught by trained individuals who are personally experienced at living well with mental illness. Participants leave course with handouts, and advance directive, a relapse prevention plan, mindfulness exercises and survival skills for working with providers and the general public.

NAMI Family-to-Family is a free, 8-session educational program for family, significant others and friends of people with mental health conditions. It is a designated evidenced-based program. This means that research shows that the program significantly improves the coping and problem-solving abilities of the people closest to a person with a mental health condition.

The Family Advocate Program connects family members and loved ones of persons living with a mental illness to peer Family Advocates. Volunteers have knowledge of the local mental health system and also personally understand what it means to support a family member, significant other, or friend.

Provides free basic medical services for low income adults without healthcare coverage. Does not provide school/work/sports physicals. Does not provide any disability, workers' comp or social security claims paperwork. Can provide referrals to primary care specialists or specialists who offer services on a sliding fee scale, as well as dental referrals. Can arrange for lab work or radiology services. Physical therapy services available. Offers limited eye screenings.

Provides information through a variety of channels that improves the public's understanding of mental health and mental illness; the nature, etiology, diagnosis, and treatment or management of specific mental disorders; and strategies for reducing the incidence of problems where possible.

Offers prevention and intervention services through recovery-focused resources and education. Works with a number of community partners to provide a network of recovery strategies for recovering and at-risk populations. Provides a program to develop and enhance mental and physical wellness for mental health consumers. A specialist works with participants to use information about their diagnoses to make a plan to deal with crises that come up, to give direction to others working with them about what they may need while in crisis, and to know and use tools to develop mental health wellness over the long term.

Mental and Behavioral Health Services for children, adolescents and their caregivers . We also specialize in working with Preschoolers ages 3 to 5 years old . We offer in person therapy, counseling, parent training and support, family therapy and wrap around services using community health workers

Offers a class on how to help an adolescent (age 12 to 18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis. The course introduces common mental health challenges for youth, reviews typical adolescent development, and teaches a 5-step action plan for how to help young people in both crisis and non-crisis situations. Topics covered include anxiety, depression, substance use, disorders in which psychosis may occur, disruptive behavior disorders (including AD/HD), and eating disorders.

Offers a presentation designed for middle school and high school students on mental illness that includes warning signs, facts and statistics and how to get help for themselves or a friend. Goal is to change middle and high school students’ knowledge and attitudes toward mental health conditions and toward seeking help.

Offers programs and lectures on mental health topics for members of the community and local organizations.
