Therapists work with clients to improve their level of functioning in the home with their families, in their communities and at work. Individual needs are identified, and therapeutic goals are defined that include but are not limited to: assisting clients to improve daily functioning, teaching and implementing positive coping skills for managing mental health symptoms, understanding and healing from traumatic experiences, and developing conflict resolution skills for navigating stress and problems encountered in life.

Provides screening, diagnosis, and treatment for youth who are experiencing acute or chronic psychiatric problems. Treatment may include individual counseling, case management, school-based therapy, group counseling, home-based therapy, and medication management. Services may be provided in a variety of settings including offices, homes, schools, and community agencies.

Offers an in-home or in-office mental health assessment that reviews an individual's mental health history, education, and skill levels to provide a baseline for treatment.

Provides assessement for drug use disorder as well as mental health issues. Offers psychiatric counseling. Provides diagnostic assessment services for adults with a dual diagnosis of epilepsy and a mental illness. Offers psychiatric case management services. Works to identify, solve and prevent problems of acceptance and adjustment. Groups for individuals and family members are also offered, along with educational materials and medical information.

LSS 211 Central Ohio

Specialized program to help treat adolescence and young adults who have had their first episode of psychosis. Program follows a team-based approach utilizing a modularized curriculum. Those that qualify for the FIRST program must agree to participate in at least two of the services offered which include: Psychiatric Care, Individual Resiliency Training, Psycho-family Education and Support, Case Management and Supportive Employment.

HNNEO 211

Short-term residential facility providing crisis stabilization for persons experiencing or recovering from a mental health and/or substance use crisis and in need of an intermediate level of care. Clients are admitted when they are stepping down from inpatient psychiatric units or diverted from inpatient psychiatric admission. Focus on stabilizing the current crisis and mobilizing resources so person can be treated in a less restrictive setting.

Provides a bilingual licensed clinician to assess and refer residents to mental health, addiction and recovery services. Facilitates the first contact between the caller and mental health and addiction agencies in Lorain County. Troubleshoots concerns about finances, transportation, and language barriers. Works directly with the appropriate agency to ensure the client's enrollment is fully addressed or completed as needed.

Diagnostic Assessments are offered by appointment only. Intake must first be completed. If a Diagnostic Assessment has been completed in the past year at another agency, that will be accepted.
