Behavioral Health Emergency Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week through the emergency departments of our hospitals. Services provided: •An Emergency Department physician provides a medical examination first to rule out any medical concerns. •He or she then refers you or your loved ones to the psychiatric social worker for an assessment. •Once needs are assessed, the best, most appropriate services are recommended. Provides 24/7/365 phoneline that serves as the entry point for Hamilton County residents to access public behavioral health services. Offers initial assessment and connection to appropriate public mental health services for adults and children/youth who do not have insurance.
Assist youth ages ten and under who have been referred to Court for allegedly being unruly or having committed serious felony offenses. This program provides services ranging from counseling, anger management, specialized diagnostic assessments, neglect issues, sex offenses and use of illicit substances. In addition the program offers the necessary services to the youth and their family to address and identify these concerns. Youth without charges can also be served by the 10 & Under program. Youth as young as six can be handled through the 10 & Under program. 10 & Under referrals can be made at anytime the center is open 24/7. For scheduled screenings with the Care Coordination Team can be made for Tuesdays and Wednesday 9:30 am to 3:30 pm.

Each of the Apple Grove buildings has five one-bedroom apartments with a kitchen, bath, and living room/dining room combination. On-site community building provides an indoor recreation area, and ample outdoor space is also available for recreational programs. Community support services are provided to individuals by The Counseling Center.

Acts as the intake department for inpatient and outpatient mental health services provided by Lighthouse Youth and Family Services. Conducts diagnostic assessments of mental health and/or substance use concerns, symptoms, and behaviors and provides referrals to services offered by Lighthouse.
TSFHS behavioral health department offers Diagnostic Assessments to serve as tools that determine how to best assist clients in counseling. This is an information gathering session to help your provider learn more about your situation and to determine the best course of treatment to meet your needs. Psychotherapy – or talk therapy – helps clients identify main life stressors, develop effective coping strategies for dealing with stress and adopt healthy living habits. These sessions can involve (but are not limited to): problem solving, stress management, coping skill development, communication strategies, life coaching, and trauma recovery. Examples of issues we address are: Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, Relational Issues, Bipolar Disorder, Anger Issues, Stress Management, Grief Issues, Chronic/Terminal Illness, and all DSM-V diagnoses.
