Trans Lifeline’s Hotline is a peer support phone service run by trans people for our trans and questioning peers. We believe that some of the best support that trans people can receive is from trans community members with shared lived experience. Call us if you need someone trans to talk to, even if you’re not in crisis or if you’re not sure you’re trans.

Provides an opportunity for persons with mental health or addiction challenges and their families to receive non-judgmental peer support by phone. For those, not in crisis but needing caring feedback from a peer, the Warmline helps to reduce feelings of isolation for those experiencing a bad day or having a difficult time.

Provides telephone and email peer-counseling, as well as factual information and local resources for cities and towns across the United States. Callers of all ages can use the hotline for questions about coming-out issues, relationship concerns, HIV/AIDS anxiety and safer-sex information, and lots more. All services are confidential.

The hotline has two purposes: 1. To provide Soldiers wounded and injured in support of the Global War on Terror and their families with a resource to obtain outpatient-related assistance regarding issues they have not been able to resolve through their own chain of command or medical treatment facility (MTF). 2.
