Actively seeking individuals who are willing, on a voluntary basis without remuneration, to work in all areas of service delivery, fundraising, leadership and governance. Seeks volunteers for special events include annual Akron's Autism 5K and Walk at Lock 3 in downtown Akron and iCan Bike 5-day bike camp for youth.

Seeking individuals with the requisite knowledge, skills and experience who are willing to offer their services and work without pay on projects or in positions that benefit the Arc and the people it serves. Volunteer opportunities available include Leadership Council, parent mentoring, and event committees and working with the summer camp programs.

Offers a wide variety of volunteer opportunities for people interested in office work, community outreach, computer assistance, providing support and companionship to families, running errands for clients, helping with fund raising events, and being a board member. There are also opportunities for individuals with the appropriate licensing to transport clients, provide hairdressing and nail care, and to offer counseling to children with cancer and their families.
