Children need adults to help guide them through life's many obstacles. Mentors share everyday activities, expand horizons, and experience the joy in even the simplest events. Within these little moments lies the big magic that is shared between mentors and the children they impact.

Volunteer mentors for the Lunch Buddy Program are welcome. The Lunch Buddy Program is an adult and child mentoring, academic support program starting in the fourth grade. Mentors meet with their student once a month for lunch.

Recruits and trains adult volunteers to serve as role models, friends, and mentors for youth who may benefit from a supportive relationship. The volunteers (mentors) have contact with the youth (mentees) twice a month for a period of at least one year. The volunteer and child participate in social and recreational activities such as watching movies, talking on the phone, bicycling, or just running errands. The Social Support Program is designed to provide consistent support and encouragement for people who are isolated and need assistance of staff and volunteers to socialize with peers and to offer respite for their caregivers. A network of support is offered to those with mobility issues or cognitive challenges with the goal of supporting independence. Referrals are accepted through the local healthcare systems, family or self referrals.

Actively seeking individuals who are willing to provide companionship and serve as role models for children who are disadvantaged. Volunteers may choose to meet in schools, public housing center, the volunteer's home, office, or other community locations.
