M.A.V. Youth Mentoring fosters supportive relationships between adult role models and youth. Adults and youth will meet two to three times per month to do activities such as shooting hoops, playing a board game, sharing a pizza, taking a walk in the park, etc. The schedule can be flexible to meet the needs of the mentors and their youths.

The volunteers (Bigs) have contact with the youth (Littles) twice a month for a period of at least one year. The volunteer and child participate in social and recreational activities such as watching movies, talking on the phone, bicycling, or just running errands. Professional caseworkers are available to provide advice and support.

Training:
Provided free of charge by our trained Clinic Coordinator and is completed in one of our clinic sites. Training's will be held Mid- January and an at home study and practice is available once the training is completed.
Liability:
Volunteers are not held liable for someone else’s tax return. It is the client’s responsibility to make
sure the information provided is accurate and complete. Clients are required to sign a release form
at the beginning of the session. Volunteers do not sign completed tax forms.
