Provides information to businesses about volunteerism and volunteer opportunities and arranges placement for employees (as groups or as individuals) in volunteer service projects. Consults with businesses in developing community involvement strategies that benefit businesses, employees and the community. Also offers board referral and training services (see "Board Training and Referral" service group), as well as volunteer consultants, who are able to provide up to 20 hours of volunteer service in areas such as human resources, marketing, technology and finance.

Provides traffic court, both civil and criminal, original jurisdiction over any civil action within service area up to $10,000; total jurisdiction over the commission of any misdemeanor within its service area; jurisdiction over felonies up to the preliminary hearing stage; small claims court (citizen-filed claims under $2,000); and performs marriages.

Provides volunteer training and opportunities for adults. Opportunities include: recreation/sports leader, group leader, recreation, arts and crafts group facilitator and thrift store workers.

Walking, socializing and cleaning up for our pets are key opportunities available throughout the year. There are also special event and committee opportunities, as well as administrative and unpaid internships.

Maintains a database that lists services needed and matches those needed services to individual wanting to volunteer. May provide on-site vision screenings for any person 5 and older, as staffing and volunteers allow. Must coordinate with the area director. Host monthly peer support groups within a safe-space center, provide events, trainings, and services for the LGBTQIA+ community, offer LGBTQIA+ inclusive training for area organizations and businesses.
