Provides an interactive classroom designed to promote parent/child interactions, especially in the home. It includes weekly learning activities designed around each of 4 themes: the arts, the environment, food/nutrition, and "around the town." Child Development information sessions are 1-hour, weekly presentations providing information on topics, such as, literacy, kindergarten readiness, the early learning content standards, separation anxiety, exploratory behavior, negativism, or resistance to toilet training. Weekly story hour and make-it-and-take-it sessions are designed to promote the early learning content standards.
