Offers a support group for adults with cancer to receive support, education, and answer questions about the disease.

Provides parenting skills in person and online event with a facilitator to lead discussions; parents are given "hands on" tools for raisting children on local prevention topics such as: Mental Health and coping skills, vaping education, alcohol and drug education, and bullying.

The Mid-Ohio Traumatic Loss Response Team at Cornerstone of Hope offers free support for traumatic loss survivors in Delaware, Morrow, Marion, and Crawford Counties. Prompt responses are offered to those affected by suicide, homicide, and substance-related deaths and survivors are connected with programs, services, and resources to support them on their grief journey.Monthly survivors of suicide loss meetings and 10-week support groups are offered throughout the Mid-Ohio region.

Provides bereavement education and support groups for individuals dealing with the loss of loved ones.

Peer group offered to provide a social outlet and for emotional support among gender and sexual minority youth in the Mahoning Valley. Supervised by Center staff member(s).

Offers virtual support group meetings focused on blood or marrow transplant recovery topics. Provides opportunities for participants to discuss experiences, challenges, and insights about life after transplant with other transplant recipients.

Offers free phone-based peer support and crisis intervention assistance from volunteers who have lived experience with missing and exploited children’s issues.

Provide nutrition education and supplemental food for women, infants and children who are determined to be a nutritional risk. Provides supplemental foods such as milk, eggs, cheese, fruit juices, etc. at no cost to participants.

Provides support groups and general advocacy for the blind or visually impaired and their family members. Support group members may help others find minor equipment, such as magnifying devices, and makes referrals to other local agencies.

Provides education, support groups, and support for foster, adoptive, kinship and primary families who have been connected to the Ohio Child Welfare System.

Provides support for adults who have lost a loved one to cancer.

Support groups are available, including peer counseling to newly diagnolsed patients, contact the chapter for locations, times and other details. Also has several online support goups as well as chats.

Offers mutual support groups for people with schizophrenia. The groups provide an opportunity for participants to share information, practical tips for daily living, and encouragement about issues related to the problem.

Provides support groups for families of deployed military personnel from any branch of the service.

Provides an Adult Chronic Illness Peer Support Group.

Invites all of veterans to join group for coffee, donuts and conversation.

Offers peer facilitated support meetings designed to provide self-help, support, and education for those who stutter, their loved ones, and others interested in learning more.

Provides a support group for persons with Parkinson's disease and their families/caregivers. Meetings include speakers on various topics related to movement disorders, including medical professionals, personal service providers, and others knowledgeable about nutrition, exercise, etc., as they relate to the illness.

Offers Overeaters Anonymous 12-step support program for individuals who want to stop eating compulsively, whether overeating or other eating disorders. Meetings are available in person or virtually.

Provide free naloxone nasal spray and opioid overdose awareness and education.

Sponsors twelve-step mutual support group meetings within the local community to assist alcoholics and their families and friends in overcoming their drinking problem through mutual support at regular meetings. Offer meetings for specific populations (LGBTQ, Men and Women only groups). Some groups provide proof of attendance at meetings for those who are required by the courts to attend these meetings. Child care may be available for certain groups.

A fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other so that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from cocaine addiction. The help line provides information on meetings in the area and telephone support to callers. Does not provide information on treatment. The support groups utilize the 12-step approach.

Provides information about Huntington's disease, a degenerative neurological genetic disorder. Helps people and families affected, to cope with the problems presented by the disease. Offers support groups, information, and educational materials. Assists with helping locate related community resourses and services.

Drop-in discussion group for men of all ages to share their issues with coming out and provide a place to meet others who may be going through the same transition or who have already come out.
