The fairgrounds consists of 106-acre grounds including 3 buildings, cafeteria, grandstand, outdoor arena and a harness track. Other fairground buildings are available for winter storage of boats and trailers. Site of the annual Richland County Fair, flea markets, and other special events.

Event teaches women about living a longer, healthier life and also raises funds for research and education. This initiative serves as a catalyst for change to improve the lives of women globally.

Offers the "City of Akron Illuminated Holiday Parade" in downtown Akron at Lock 3 Park during the Christmas holiday season.

Offers community-based events like Fall Festival (winter coat giveaway) and We Love Wednesdays (homeless ministry).

Offers a seven-day family event that generally includes several events and educational programs about agriculture. Includes carnival activities and rides, food, animals, competitions, 4-H activities and shows on a daily basis.

Participating Goodwill's from across the country offer for auction on the site a wide array of art, antiques and collectibles as well as new and nearly new items pulled from their vast inventories of donated goods. From unique one-of-a-kind items to estate pieces, the depth of resources is enormous. Revenues from these auction sales fund Goodwill's education, training and job placement programs for people with disabilities and other barriers.

Each year, the company presents a karaoke show, open to the public. Individuals with developmental disabilities may participate in many ways, including singing, dancing, play an instrument and more. (Seasonal program only, time of year varies)

Provides social activities for 6th-12th grade students. There are drug-free dances on Tuesday nights at Jeremiah's Coffee House/Marietta YMCA and Whit's. Also offering a teen and family swim night on Fridays at the Marietta Aquatic Center. Two combination Dance and Family Swim Nights and a block party in August are also planned.

Provides information and referral services as a department of the Mansfield/Richland County Public Library. Database of information includes government, non-profit, and social service organizations. Additional services include: * Directory assistance * Time, temperature, and weather information * Post disaster reporting * Faxing and copying services (free for social service needs) * Printing travel directions

Sponsors and organizes the annual Summit County Fair. The fair is set to include food vendors, commercial vendors, two areas for multiple daily shows and amusement rides. Grandstand entertainment will include motocross, demolition derby, as well as truck-pull and tractor-pull events. Other entertainment at the fairgrounds in Tallmadge will include Junior Fair projects, horse pulls, and antique tractor displays.
