Driver Training for Teens (classroom and in-car driving lessons); Juvenile Driver Improvement Program for teens (required for license reinstatement).
Provides a driver improvement and safety course developed to improve driving skills, develop safe defensive driving techniques, update knowledge of the rules of the road to ensure safe driving, avoiding accidents and traffic violations. Successful completion may make one eligible to receive discounts on insurance premiums (contact insurance company to find out).
Provides Career Pathways program which assists adults with prejob guidance, career counseling, technical training and certification, and job search/placement.

The Driver Safety Program promotes safe driving, helps older drivers maintain their mobility, and promotes independence among older adults. Upon finishing the four-hour course, participants will receive a certificate of completion, which, if presented to most insurance providers, will qualify older adults for a safe driver’s discount. The course may be taken in person where available or online through AARP's website.
Offers free vocational, educational and social skills training to individuals age 16-24 years old (no age restriction for disabled persons). Trainees can earn a GED (General Educational Development) and HSE (High School Equivalency) vocational completion certificate.

Knox Public Health hosts the AAA Mature Driver Course as needed The 2-day course is open to AAA members and non-members. The course gives drivers the skills and tools they need to drive safely on today's roads, allowing them to remain independent for many years to come. Among an update of driving skills and rules of the road, attendees will learn about normal age-related physical changes and how to adjust their driving to compensate. The course can reduce your chances of receiving a traffic violation, getting into an accident, or becoming injured. Attendees will receive a certificate after completing the class and might be eligible for a discount on their auto insurance. The discount is usually good for three years; so if you took the course a few years ago and received a discount, you might want to consider taking it again.
Licking Valley Driving School currently offers the following enrollment options for Adult customers: - Adult Remedial Program consists of the 8 hours of physical classroom training required for adult customers who find themselves needing to satisfy local court and BMV requirements for license point credits, DUI, suspensions etc. Classes are normally conducted on Sundays, twice a month. Call for more info and to register. - Adult Abbreviated Program consist of training required for those who have failed the BMV exam. - Adult Driver Ed, for those individuals who would like Behind the Wheel, in-vehicle training.
