Provides a workroom with equipment, consumable items, and resources that members may use to create developmentally appropriate materials for children’s learning. Equipment available in the lab includes Ellison machines with an extensive assortment of dies, Artwaxer, Bookbinder, small and large laminators, copier, and other office equipment. A large variety of consumable items such as construction paper, felt, posterboard, Velcro, and much more are also available for use in the lab.

Provides an event for families to fish together and learn fishing techniques, including how to clean and prepare caught fish to eat. Lagoon is stocked with catfish, bluegill, and trout. Fishing rods provided for youth. Bait and tackle will be provided.

Day Shelter provides tents, sleeping bags and blankets are distributed to those in need.

Provides bicycles, bike classes, bike repair, and essential bicycling equipment such as helmets, locks, and lights for eligible individuals.

Offers a biking competition in conjunction with Optimist Club. Police officers inspect and license bikes and enter them in the computer so they may compete.

Provides tents and emergency tarps when available. We offer contacts with the housing coalition and metro housing.

Offers ice skating lessons, open skating sessions, and skate rental from August to early April. Arena may be rented by groups.

The Bicycle Helmet Program provides school-age children with bicycle helmets for those who do not have one available for riding.

May be able to assist as a last resort with tents and/or blankets as they are available.

Provides assistance with coordinating community and street club meetings. Service includes providing a volleyball and net and barricades to close down streets for neighborhood block parties. Also works to resolve disputes (such as noise complaints) between neighbors.

Provides lights to use on the front and rear of bicycles in an effort to increase safe biking at night time. Lights are compliant with state requirements for bicycles (white front light and red tail light visible from 500 ft.) Batteries may be included.
