Program provides prescription sports goggles to vision-impaired youth from low-income families. Goggles can be used in a variety of sports, including basketball, baseball, soccer, racket sports, girls lacrosse and field hockey.

May be able to assist as a last resort with tents and/or blankets as they are available.

Works with leagues and individuals in Ohio to promote the use of protective eyewear and face gear to reduce the number of sports eye injuries. Provides baseball and softball helmets with face masks and prescription and non-prescription sports goggles.

Day Shelter provides tents, sleeping bags and blankets are distributed to those in need.

Provides an event for families to fish together and learn fishing techniques, including how to clean and prepare caught fish to eat. Lagoon is stocked with catfish, bluegill, and trout. Fishing rods provided for youth. Bait and tackle will be provided.

Provides protective helmets with face shields to youth baseball and softball leagues, and protective goggles to youth basketball leagues in Ohio. Also provides protective equipment to vocational schools in Ohio. Offers corresponding educational program for parents and coaches concerning sports safety and protective eyewear. Requires three-year commitment that includes pre- and post-season evaluations from all participating coaches.
