Provides exercise, entertainment, and recreation through 20 city park areas. Sponsors softball leagues and takes reservations for park use. Provides proper operation and maintenance of city-owned buildings grounds and cemeteries.

Offers nature parks and programs, neighborhood parks with play equipment, and community parks to the public.

Offers a variety of leisure time activities for all ages. Maintains over 100 acres of park land, a soccer complex, 16 baseball/softball fields, and other park facilities. Offers numerous sports, activities, and leagues including volleyball, tennis, golf, and soccer. Publishes a newsletter which provides information on programs being offered.
