Offers assistance to Clark County individuals with permanent physical/ intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Our emphasis is on children. As funds allow, assistance also to adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Limited funds are available for adults with physical disabilities. The program offers limited financial assistance in the purchases of prescribed equipment and services not covered under insurance plans or through other public assistance, also offers assistance with summer camp/enrichment fees for children, teens and young adults with disabilities. Provides Grants-to-Teachers to Clark County & City public school special ed teachers of elementary, middle and high school classrooms.

DeafEND is our school-based prevention education program that serves Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing and hearing youth; teaching risks of ATOD use. Camping and leadership programs are also provided to support Deaf and KODA (Kids of Deaf Adults) kids. KODA Camp is sponsored each summer for youth growing up with Deaf parents/family members.

Helps with prescriptions, electric service shut off, water co-payments, and miscellaneous needs of the community. Sponsor campers for Salvation Army Summer Camp. Provides vouchers for shoes for school age kids in the Shelby area during the school year. Works in conjunction with Shelby Helpline Ministries. Note - if needing help with rent need to call Mansfield Salvation Army.
