Provides in-home services for adults 60 and older as an alternative to nursing home care. A social worker or nurse will visit the client to assess needs and create an individualized plan. Investigates cases of abuse, neglect or exploitation of elderly persons - primarily persons over age 60; after hours situations can be referred to the police or Help Network of Northeast Ohio at 330-747-2696. Referrals for guardianship services.

Provides assistance in the home with basic personal care and home management tasks including housekeeping, grooming, meal preparation and laundry. Serves those who are 18 years of age and older and have a disability.

Offers programs and services to seniors to enable them to remain independent.

Provides light housekeeping or heavy cleaning services depending upon the needs of the client. Includes services such as full house cleaning, scrubbing floors, bathroom and shower cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, laundry, grocery shopping, and cleaning cupboards. Will also pack, unpack, and organize home during a move. Will not clean outdoor windows requiring the use of a ladder or perform full carpet cleaning.

Provides aides to complete homemaker tasks such as light housekeeping, grocery shopping, laundry, seasonal deep cleaning and errands (prescription pick-up, etc.). While in the homes, staff assesses each situation to ensure safety and cleanliness. Each individual has a personalized plan of care to outline their needs, which is updated with the participant on a regular basis. Persons receiving the assistance are asked to provide supplies necessary to complete the tasks requested.

Provides personal care attendants as well as errand-running assistance and light housekeeping services for homebound seniors.

Serves as clearinghouse for information, resources, and assistance for older adults who live in Greene County and their families. Also provides support to help keep seniors in their own or family member's home, which is arranged through care managers.

Provides services to adults with developmental disabilities, including assistance with household tasks, errand running and shopping
