Programs include: Senior Community Services, Family Caregiver Support, Passport, Assisted Living Waiver, Ohio Home Care Waiver, Specialized Recovery Services, Senior Farmer's Market Program, Wellness Programs, Long-term Care Ombudsman.

Provides light housekeeping or heavy cleaning services depending upon the needs of the client. Includes services such as full house cleaning, scrubbing floors, bathroom and shower cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, laundry, grocery shopping, and cleaning cupboards. Will also pack, unpack, and organize home during a move. Will not clean outdoor windows requiring the use of a ladder or perform full carpet cleaning.

Provides and assists in arranging for child care services for families who are on public assistance, employed or in training who meet income as well as other eligibility criteria; payment can be made to licensed day care centers or certified home providers.

Arranges for and/or funds routine household and personal care activities for people with developmental disabilities through various programs. Services may include assistance with personal care, supervision, transportation, community activities, meal planning, grocery shopping, medical appointments and other activities of daily living.

Coordinates services through local providers to assist seniors with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, or with routine tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and healthy living environment. (housecleaning, cooking, etc. - small jobs to assist the individual to stay in their home)

Provides assistance with personal care and housekeeping tasks. Services may include bathing, showering, bed baths, light housecleaning, laundry, blood pressure checks, food preparation and cooking.

Provides and assists in arranging for child care services for families who are on public assistance, employed or in training who meet income as well as other eligibility criteria; payment can be made to licensed day care centers or certified home providers.

Program provides in-home alternatives to nursing home care for eligible individuals. Services include: a personal care plan to meet the individual's needs at home by arranging an appropriate mix of services to supplement care provided by family members and friends. Eligible services include: adaptive and assistive equipment, assistance in the home with health activities such as taking medications appropriately and other health-related activities, with case/care management, adult day care, chore service, home medical equipment and supplies, emergency response systems, home delivered meals, homemaker services, independent living assistance, minor home modifications, nutrition consultation, personal care services, medical and non-medical transportation. Program also administers the Pre-admission Review process that determines the level of care for persons who want to enter Medicaid-certified nursing homes and periodically offers vendors training on dealing with elderly/disabled individuals.

Provides the following services to anyone in need, regardless of his or her ability to pay: * Medication for pain and symptom management, * Professional nursing visits, * Assistance and instruction to family caregivers, * Personal care and homemaker assistance, * Medical and social services, * Spiritual care from the hospice chaplain, * Dietary guidance from a registered dietitian, * Physical, occupational, speech and music therapies, * Trained volunteers, * Bereavement support, * Short term inpatient care, * On-call professional staff, and a supplemental paid caregiver fund.

Serves as clearinghouse for information, resources, and assistance for adults ages 60 and over, who live in Greene County and their families. Also provides support to help keep seniors in their own or family member's home, which is arranged through care managers.

Provide transportation to medical appointments in conjunction with WRTA. Funding is limited and program is a first come, first served basis. Travel must remain in county of orgin. All Vehicles are wheelchair accessible.

Program provides in-home services to senior citizens in Washington County. Services are available to eligible clients who are at-risk of premature placement in a nursing home due to a medical, emotional or psychological impairment. Clients of the Homemaker program must be 60 years of age or older and homebound. The homemaker will spend about an hour and a half each week performing needed tasks such as dusting, vacuuming or laundry.

Program offering chore services for frail elderly and assistance for seasonal chores, Home Health Aides for personal care services, and in-home service for elderly convalescing from an illness or hospital stay.

Provides assistance in the home with basic personal care and home management tasks including housekeeping, grooming, meal preparation and laundry. Serves those who are 18 years of age and older and have a disability.
