Provide Mahoning County residents that qualify with a stove, refrigerator, washer, dryer, bedding, and/or a crib. Services beginning April 1, 2022, through December 31, 2022.

Provides volunteer training and opportunities for adults interested in home rehabilitation.

Provides minor home repairs for those who would otherwise not be able to do it themselves. Services vary, but generally helps with yard work and small repairs such as: porch painting, fixing or replacing door locks and handles; replacing broken screen doors or window panes; installing smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and changing batteries; making minor repairs on stair treads; replacing carpet threshold strips; and replacing furnace filters.

Program provides a home environment safety assessment for the individual's home, minor home modifications, and coordination with local fire departments to improve the safety of the client's home when requested and appropriate.

Provides repair of owner-occupied dwellings for income-eligible households that are mentally or physically disabled or include a disabled family member.

Offers health and safety-related independent living improvements such as handrail and grab bar installation, ramp repair, and other services and health and safety improvements including window air conditioner installation, unclogging drains and more.

Provides eligible Ohioans assistance with monthly heating payments if heating source is disconnected or threatened with disconnection. Provides assistance once per heating season. Program begins around October.

The Winter Crisis program runs from November 1st through March 31st. To assist individuals having trouble paying their gas or electric bill if that is there heating source, a one time payment of up to $175 for regulated gas/electric or $750 for unregulated utility customers. And $900 for bulk fuel, and $550.00 for coal or wood assistance and Furnace Repair up to $500.00. Clients will be processed for all available programs, including HEAP, PIPP and Winter Crisis at each appointment.

Partnership of community and church groups from Richland County and throughout the US to do housing repair for people in need. Does NOT do roofing repairs or major foundation work. Does build ramps for those in need of a ramp. With the exception of wheelchair ramps, there is a $500.00 limit per household per year on repairs.

Help with home chores, repairs, minor modifications and minor auto repairs. Program ask that when you can, you pay for the materials, but all labor is done by donation only. Transportation is provided to seniors to appointments, grocery stores, churches, and a local food bank by donation.

Provides assistance to seniors for utilities, must have disconnection notice *Max of $200 - one time only Home Repair - must be 60 or older and need repairs to make home safe and be able to remain in the home. Must own the home.

Income eligible participant homes inspected and serviced for health, safety and energy saving measures.

Provides assistance with small home repair or maintenance to seniors and individuals with disabilities residing within Christ's Loving Hands service area., including installing hand rails, painting small areas, changing lightbulbs, mowing the lawn, raking leaves, trimming bushes, and cleaning gutters.

Provides assistance with specific health and safety issues for homeowners. Eligible repairs include: * Roof repairs * Electrical issues * Hot water issues * Heating issues * Handicap accessibility

The Licking County Health Department works to prevent disease transmission and protect the quality of surface and ground water by performing inspections, enforcing sewage regulations, and providing education to homeowners.

PWC provides urgent and critical home repairs, accessibility modifications and energy conservation services, completed by PWC's professional construction and trades trades staff, which includes carpenters, HVAC technicians, plumbers and electricians. Clients must be low-income (below 50% Area Median Income) and own their home.

Provides repairs that are necessary to the proper function of the main sewer system which includes the repair/replacement of broken sewer lines, installing Test Tees, snaking or jetting of the sewer.

The JOSHUA program is a work missions project established for youth and adults from various parts of the country to help make a difference in the living conditions of low income residents of the Ohio Valley. Services include, but are not limited to: painting, building of handicap ramps, replacing of windows, and yard clean up. Home repair projects are matched up with the skills of the work mission groups and most projects can be completed within one (1) week in the summer.

Performs emergency and extensive housing rehabilitation services based on need and income eligibility. Housing rehabilitation maximum grant amount is $10,000 per property. Emergency grants may be available when property is considered substandard or where a government agency (health or building department) certified in writing that there is an imminent threat to health and safety. Services include repair or replacement of sidewalks, handicapped accessibility improvements, exterior painting, electric and electrical panel updates, foundation repair and weatherproofing, furnace repair and replacement, vermin and insect removal, plumbing repairs including hot water tank replacement, and connection to sanitary sewers and/or water lines. Contracts with local providers.

Provides non-emergency transportation with door-to door service to dialysis, medical appointments, social events, shopping trips, airport trips, or to visit family and friends. Wheel chair accessible.

Owner Rehabilitation is to improve and protect the supply of sound, serviceable and affordable owner-occupied housing stock. Through this activity, financial assistance is provided to homeowners with income levels at or below 80% of Area Median Income to correct substandard conditions so that the homes are safe, healthy, durable, energy-efficient, and affordable.
