Provides seasonal yard maintenance (including snow shoveling), heavy household cleaning and minor home repair.

Provides the winter heating crisis program to help income eligible Ohio residents meet the high costs of home heating. Eligible consumers receive financial assistance toward the payment of their heating bill and assistance with gas bills. Also has assistance available to assist with furnace repairs or replacements.

Provides in-home services for adults 60 and older as an alternative to nursing home care. A social worker or nurse will visit the client to assess needs and create an individualized plan. Services may include adult day services, home delivered meals, personal care, medical equipment, minor home repairs/modifications, and homemaker services such as house keeping.

Plumbing permits, inspections and plumber registrations.

Provides guidance, supervision, and assistance to intellectually or developmentally disabled adults who are living in their own housing in the community. Staff visit participants on a regular basis, assist them with learning independent living skills and accessing community resources, offers assistance with tasks such as budgeting, bill paying, housekeeping, medication administration and may provide respite care.

Offers a program designed to provide minor home repairs, accessibility modifications and support to eligible homeowners. - In partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Medina County.

Provides home health care which includes medication management and reminders, personal care and bathing assistance, meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, errands and light housekeeping and laundry.

Provides free trash collection, snow plowing, and one-time gutter cleaning to older adults and individuals with disabilities, based on availability of funding.

Assists individuals and families to remain in their homes and live independently in a safe and sound environment whos roofs current conditions in which water is or has a high probability of leaking into the interior of the home due to disrepiar or deterioration of the roof system. Types of repairs include but are not limited to chimneys, coverings, sheathing, rafters, flashings, vents, structural members, soffits, fascia, gutters and downspouts. Proper ventilation of the structure to prevent condensation of moisture shall be considered a necessary condition of repair. Funds may also be used for health, and safety work including but not limited to installing smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, in accordance with City housing standards.

Services for adults age 62 and older include grocery pick up and Kroger click list.

Maintains all streets and public properties for the City of Strongsville. Services include street maintenance, traffic signal maintenance, street sign maintenance, and graffiti removal on public property. Provides snow removal on driveways for seniors. Handles concerns regarding roadway repair, snow removal, and traffic control devices.

Services That Assist Richland Seniors (STARS) provides in-home services and community access services and supports with funding made available through the Richland County Senior Services Levy.

Provide highly individualized, coordinated system of services and supports for people with disabilities who do not require 24-hour care to facilitate their ability to live in their own homes or apartments. Services may include homemaker or personal care attendant.

Provides the following services to anyone in need, regardless of his or her ability to pay: * Medication for pain and symptom management, * Professional nursing visits, * Assistance and instruction to family caregivers, * Personal care and homemaker assistance, * Medical and social services, * Spiritual care from the hospice chaplain, * Dietary guidance from a registered dietitian, * Physical, occupational, speech and music therapies, * Trained volunteers, * Bereavement support, * Short term inpatient care, * On-call professional staff, and a supplemental paid caregiver fund.

Provides a phone number where people can report abandoned properties in the area. Organization makes sure properties are boarded up and secured against illegal activity, then tracks the properties to their owners (where possible), reports them to proper city authorities, and works to reach resolution regarding the properties. Help with minor home repair, weatherization and resources for community members.

Provide assistance with location of non-custodial parents, paternity establishment, establishment and enforcement of child support orders, establishment and enforcement of medical support orders, review and modification of support orders, request other states to enforce an Ohio order of support for parents who live-out-of-state, collecting and disbursing child support payments, and termination of Support Orders.

Types of services provided include: * Personal care tasks * Meals or other home delivery services * Respite care * Care coordination * Goods and services to improve home safety * Case management provided by the Area Agency on Aging * Provided through collaboration with the Louise Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center.

Provides emergency assistance to those in need when there is no other community resource available to help. May help with utilities (gas, electric, water); rent; and small home repairs. Generally, assistance is limited to $200-$300 (however, clients are not guaranteed to get this maximum amount).

Offers assistance to individuals in need with items such as changing an outlet, decluttering a mess, driving to a doctor's appointment, or building a ramp.

Custodial and Lawn Care Services with a focus on customer satisfaction. Services include: - General office cleaning - Trash removal - Floor maintenance - Restroom cleaning and sanitizing - Carpet care - Construction cleanup - Lawn care for commercial and residential.

Provide Mahoning County residents that qualify with a stove, refrigerator, washer, dryer, bedding, and/or a crib. Services beginning April 1, 2022, through December 31, 2022.

In-home client assessments link individuals with appropriate long-term services; services are an alternative to nursing home placement which include but are not limited to adult day care, home-delivered meals, chore service, homemaker, minor home modifications, medical transportation, personal care, social work counseling, nutritional counseling, emergency response, independent living assistance, medical supplies and medical equipment.
