Provides low-interest loans of up to $11,000 for rural homeowners who need water well improvements or in-home water treatment. Loans carry a 1% interest rate. Maturity may not exceed 20 years and depends on the borrower's repayment ability. Borrowers will be responsible for associated loan costs such as recording and other fees.

Provides grants to assist homeowners with home repairs. The following repairs may be eligible for the program: --Building envelope structural repairs, including the roof, floors, ceiling, walls and foundation; --Roofing repair and/or replacement; --Gutter repair and /or replacement as well as other moisture mitigation work; --Heating system repair and/or replacement; --Plumbing repair and/or replacement; --Septic system repair and/or replacement; --Electrical upgrades, repair or replacement; --Interior/exterior repairs and alterations to allow handicapped mobility and accessibility, such as kitchen and bathroom modifications, ramps, handrails, and grab bars. Repairs are provided by contractors hired by COAD.

PASSPORT provides help at home for seniors as an alternative to nursing home care.Some of the senior services available include homemaker, transportation, personal care services, home-delivered meals, emergency response systems, adult day services, and case management. PASSPORT, providing help at home for Ohio seniors, is also referred to as Ohio's home and community based Medicaid-waiver program for older adults.

Homemaking department provides light housekeeping and companionship services to our clients in Wyandot County. If you or someone you know may be in need of a little help with vacuuming, dishes, laundry, etc.we can help.

This program that helps with winterizing a home. Provides help in reducing utility costs through attic, wall and basement insulation. May include replacement or repair of heating systems. May also replace older refrigerators, stoves and ovens with more energy efficient and safe appliances.

Care manager assists older adults and/or caregivers with coordinating and accessing services, which may include the following: * Alzheimer's Respite Program * Family Caregiver Support Program * Adult day care * Education, information, and assistance * Homemaker services * Personal care services * Safety monitoring * Meals * Minor home modifications

The supported living program offers individualized instruction and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities to teach the specific daily living skills needed by the individual to live in a safe, healthy environment. CDS is an Individual Options Waiver and Level 1 Waiver provider through the county board of developmental disabilities system. Transportation available to those in program. Self-pay is also accepted.

Offers skilled home health care treatment in the patient's home. Nurses, physical and occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, medical social workers, home health aides, homemakers, and live-in companions are all available to meet patient's needs.

A flexible approach helps to minimize the stress often associated with finding and maintaining personal assistance supports.
