EAPs vary in complexity from telephone hotlines that offer referrals for needed services to organizations that offer in-person diagnosis and referral, direct counseling and/or extensive treatment for one or a variety of problems. LAPP also provides Department of Transportation-Substance Abuse Professional services. This includes evaluation and recommendations for violations related to substance use for all safety sensitive positions. This ranges from CDL drivers, railroad workers, and airline employees. Once recommendations are completed, a follow-up evaluation is conducted to determine if a Return-to-Duty letter advising the employer completion was satisfactory.

Offers employees and their family members access to counseling and referral services. Problems addressed may include marital problems, family concerns, emotional distress or chemical dependency. Provides critical incident stress debriefing and crisis intervention, and counseling for workplace trauma such as death, robbery, suicide, terrorism, accidents, layoffs and natural disasters.

Offers programs to help local companies and organizations provide a safe and healthy drug-free work environment. Services include Policy Development, Supervisor Training, Employee Education, and Random Drug Testing.

211 Summit

Offers Employee Assistance Program to assist employees and their family members with a wide range of personal problems. Services include assessment, short-term counseling and referral services for individuals; couples; children and families; and those with caregiving responsibilities for older relatives.

LSS 211 Central Ohio

Offers a comprehensive service, the Map for Healing & Recovery program, a fast track guide to help anyone, physically, emotionally, relationally and spiritually, including life purpose. We also provide personal coaching/mentoring for individuals, couples and families. We offer an optional, spiritual, inner healing prayer for deeper hurts and general prayer support for all participants. We teach about and officiate baptisms. We can also help some of our members in need with other job and life skills and other assistance. Volunteering can often be "therapeutic" and there are dozens of rewarding ways to help, in person and virtually. We also have regular social events. All services are offered in person in the Dayton area and online, anywhere in the country.
