Provides the United States Department's International visitors arrival greetings at Akron/Canton Airport, hotel arrangements, professional appointments, and other services. Provides professional programs, assistance by accompanying visitors on programs, tours, shopping, and home hospitality for individuals coming from countries all over the world sponsored by the United States Department of State. Provides a variety of programs for University of Akron's International Students, scholars, and families.

Assists immigrants with obtaining short-term case management, accurate up-to-date information on new laws and procedures, and online green card renewals. Provides additional support services including: - Citizenship classes to prepare eligible immigrants for the United States Citizen and Immigration Services (USCIS) citizenship exam. - English instruction in preparation for formal English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes. - Mobile Mexican consulate visits (for consular services such as passport renewals and consular IDs). - Clinics and special events (immunization fairs, legal clinics, know your rights information). - Coordination of services with Lorain County Free Clinic. - Referrals to American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). - Referrals to constituent services from congressional representatives and government agencies. - Advocacy and educations with Lorain Ohio Immigrants Rights Association (LOIRA).

Offers guidance, instruction, and training for daily life activities for immigrants new to region. - Provides assistance with navigating various systems, teaching minor home repair, money management, and completing paperwork such as immigration forms and obtaining a driver's license. - Assists with obtaining appropriate clothing, basic household items, and accessing programs that provide material assistance. - Assists with school enrollments and in-home English tutoring and small group instruction for adults.

Provides reception and placement, crisis intervention, community orientation, job counseling, cross-cultural counseling, health related services, and English classes for individuals entering the United States as refugees or immigrants.
