Provides adoption services for families and children, including parent training, home study assessments, matching and post-placement supports. Also provides advocacy services and promotes community awareness of the needs faced by children in foster care who are waiting for adoptive families.

Develops foster and adoptive families for children who have come into the care and custody of a public agency due to dependency, abuse or neglect. Provides information, education and support for those who wish to adopt. Conducts evaluations and home studies of prospective adoptive families.

Provides client services for someone facing an unplanned pregnancy, Services are free and confidential and are tailored to help the client think through all options, including abortion, adoption, and parenting. Women's Center offers abortion alternatives including pregnancy tests and ultrasound to determined the fetus age and viability, and more. Offers free pregnancy test and assistance, free ultrasounds, post-abortion support group, and mentoring services. Also offers free material assistance, such as infant formula, diapers, infant needs etc. Quantities and ability to earn material assistance are determined by agency.

Provides pregnancy services to pregnant women; information, literature about pregnancy, pregnancy testing, ultrasound verification, referrals for medical care and community social services resources. Parenting classes are available for men and women.

Provides National Down Syndrome Adoption Network, assisting expectant parents navigate the adoption process who may be interested in creating an adoption plan as well as those families interested in adopting a child with Down syndrome

Provides child-placing services for Kentucky families. Trains foster parents to provide therapeutic foster care services to children in the custody of the state of Kentucky. Assists families in adopting children placed in their care when appropriate

Provides training and support groups for adoptive and foster families.

Program provides pregnancy support through education, one-on-one support services, decision-making counseling, outreach to individuals at home, hospital or community setting.

Recruits, prepares, educates and supports prospective adoptive parents, including relative caregivers seeking to adopt. Adoption specialists provide a complete adoption home study. Provides post-placement supervision, support and court finalization of the adoption. Handles infant, special needs adoptions (children with medical issues or disabilities), as well as older children and foster children. Conducts parent training for prospective adoptive parents.

Women’s Center–Kettering provides client services for someone facing an unplanned pregnancy. Services are free and confidential and are tailored to help the client think through all options, including abortion, adoption, and parenting. Women's Center offers abortion alternatives including pregnancy tests and ultrasound to determine the fetus age and viability, and more. Offers free pregnancy test and assistance,free ultrasounds, post-abortion support group, and men's services and mentoring services. Also offers free material assistance, such as infant formula, diapers, infant needs etc. Quantities and ability to earn material assistance are determined by agency. Offices are located on the second floor of the Mama DiSalvo building, behind the restaurant. There is private, confidential parking in the rear parking lot.

Provides counseling services for adoptive, kinship, and birth families, other families and individuals.

Offers individual and family counseling for foster-to-adopt and post-adoptive families. Assists adoptive families strengthen relationships and focus on specific mental health needs of the child.

Providing adoption services to ensures the safety of Butler County children through temporary or permanent adoption and foster home placements

Provides training and support for parents who are interested in adopting children who have been placed with them. Also provides post-adoption support and mental health services for adoptive families.

Licensed staff help link families with organizations providing international placement services. Services include education on the requirements for international placements, conducting home studies, and providing the necessary post-placement supervision. Pre- and post-adoption counseling is available for parents and adoptees. Service available through Columbus office only.

Pre-Arranged/Targeted Adoption: Available to assist adopting couples, obstetricians, attorneys or others with the placement of a child in a pre-arranged adoption circumstance. In these instances, a source other than House of New Hope may find a birth parent wishing to place with a particular adopting couple who may or may not be currently adopting through House of New Hope. It may be necessary to involve House of New Hope due to interstate or jurisdictional problems, as a way of maintaining a relationship with birth parents, or simply as a resource to provide birth parent services, counseling, home study and post-placement services. Post-Adoption Services: After adoptions are finalized, some families find they need additional support to help children succeed in their home and to help their children transition through some life challenges. House of New Hope provides post-adoption services that are tailor-made to your family’s specific needs.
