A volunteer self-help group of professionals who aid each other in finding employment thru interviewing, training, resume preparation, active job solicitation, and match-up service. Members must be willing to volunteer at least four hours per week in the Day-Vest office to maintain their active registration. Day-Vest members should have at least two years of college and management or other professional experience to be eligible to join Day-Vest.

Services include: assistance to deaf individuals who need help understanding and managing tasks that require English, such as bills, letters and phone calls, working with bureaucratic entities such as HUD and OJS, and appointments (e.g. with a doctor); basic adult education groups to improve daily living skills such as managing money, health equity, navigating transportation, and making effective use of technology; vocational assistance to those who would like help finding employment; social events to communicate with one another prevent isolation; and workshops open to deaf and hard of hearing and family and friends on issues of importance to the deaf community.

GreeneWorks offers a variety of direct and indirect services to people seeking employment. Offers assistance with job hunting, interviewing, career counseling, training and other support to help people get and keep jobs.

Provide people with disabilities and other needs to achieve independence and enhance their lives. Helps Veterans or ex-offender's with disabilities with Job Placement Assistance, Comprehensive Vocational Assessment, Job Seeking Skills, Interview Practice, Labor Market Information, Transitional Work Experience, Certification Training, Hidden Job Market, Support, Job Coaching and Skills Training.

Provides a group home for 20 children (2 beds for emergency foster care); services include individual, group, and family counseling; recreational program; education coordination (with Eaton Public schools); ongoing assistance for ex-residents (employment/housing/living skills). Primarily serves Preble County youth ages 8 to 18; other counties by referral.

Provides assistance in skills assessment, resume writing, and finding employment spouses of active duty military & civilians.

Assesses individuals interests and skills for employment. Develops employability plans, provides counseling, career readiness training, remedial education classroom. Offers on-the-job search assistance and self-directed placement.

OIC offers education,vocational training, and workforce preparation to eligible youth and adults. Educational services can assist individuals in achieving their high school diploma (youth 16-21). OIC currently offers Forklift and Certified Logistics Training.

Provides social services including case managers to inmates of this 500-bed medium security prison. Programs include parenting skills sessions and job finding lessons for inmates about to be paroled or furloughed.

The Employment Services program offers a broad range of assessment, training and job placement services and provide on-on-one support to reach personal employment goals. Work Assessments offer opportunities for "job tryouts" with community-based employers to determine areas of interest and existing skill sets. Job Development focuses on the outcome of community job placement. Individuals may receive assistance with resume development, interview proficiency, job search techniques and employer advocacy. Job Coaching assists individuals to develop the skills to be successful in community employment by offering supplemental training and oversight to solidify job performance. Transition Services assist students, ages 14-22, with preparation for employment via career exploration and job readiness training. Job club, Summer Youth and Project SEARCH programs were designed specifically to achieve the employment goals of students transitioning into the workforce. We also provide Job Readiness and Career Exploration classes for Jr. High and High School students from throughout our service area.
