Can assist with power of attorney for foreign citizens.

Offers designated space and equipment for job seekers. Offers computer, Internet and other job finding resources. Staff and volunteers assist customers with application process. Provides classes on basic computer skills, job searching, resume help, and Internet searching.

Links qualified candidates to open positions in manufacturing. Focus is on recruiting to fill specific positions that employers are looking for. Job categories range from administrative to machine operators.

Provides financial assistance with car repairs to prevent employment barriers. Offers assistance with connecting individuals seeking a job to business owners in the area. Assistance is limited and provided on a case-by-case basis.

Offers resources available to community members who are currently unemployed and looking for employment, or those who want a different or higher paying job. Job Seekers have access to a full selection of resources under one convenient location, Services available include: - Partner services from local and state organizations - Employment and career counseling - Staffed, full service job search resource center with internet access - A host of jobseeker-related services including resume development, job leads, (link to hot jobs) and interview skills brush up - Veterans services - Access to education and training providers - Vocation rehabilitation services for those with a disability - Connections to other supportive services.

Tobacco cessation program to help pregnant women quit smoking and stay tobacco free after baby is born. Women who enroll in the program, quit smoking and remain tobacco free after the baby is born receive free diapers for 12 months (voucher to Walmart each month).

Provides employment and training services in a convenient, easily accessible location. Services include career exploration, testing and assessment; resume preparation assistance, interview training and other prejob guidance services; job matching and referral; job registration; labor market and career information; information on financial aid for education and training; and referral for job training, transportation, child care, personal and financial counseling, health care and other human services resources in the community. Also has computers and a fax machine available at no charge.

Provides a listing of job opportunities, updated weekly, that may be available to the Hispanic/Latino community. In some cases, application access is provided directly on the web site.

Direct Aid Program provides veterans and their families up to $200 per veteran per year in states they are registered in. Direct aid needs addressed have included, but are not limited to rent, utilities, shelter, auto repair, food, clothing and relocation. VO Depot is a thrift store that benefits veterans financial services. Veterans get 20% off every day and veterans in need can obtain vouchers that allow them to shop for free. Freedom Food Pantry Program provides fresh foods and non-perishables to veterans. The Outreach Program Works with veterans to help them find employment either through outside employers or agencies they are associated with or through the Outreach Program. Provide support to other agencies that work to enhance veterans lives. Assist WWII veterans and their families with registration for the National WWII Memorial.

A volunteer self-help group of professionals who aid each other in finding employment thru interviewing, training, resume preparation, active job solicitation, and match-up service. Members must be willing to volunteer at least four hours per week in the Day-Vest office to maintain their active registration. Day-Vest members should have at least two years of college and management or other professional experience to be eligible to join Day-Vest.

Matches skills and experience with the needs of participating hiring managers. Provides career guidance and support services to Post 9/11 wounded veterans transitioning to the civilian workforce. Provides job readiness services such as resume creation and interview skills training.

Provides periodic workshops that assist with putting together effective job resumes, interview practice, using social media to search for a job and to post job requirements.

The OhioMeansJobs Center offers a variety of services to both Job Seekers and Employers. Job Seekers have access to local employment opportunities, career information & planning, resume preparation & educational workshops. Access to fax, phone, and internet. The Center is a community resource for employers in that staff and agency partners can post vacancies through local & statewide networks, offer assistance in on-site recruitment, sponsor job fairs and provide wage and labor market information. Conference rooms are available to employers who wish to conduct on-site interviews or present seminars.
