Hospice of Dayton has a long-standing collaborative relationship with more than one hundred area nursing homes, assisted living facilities, extended care facilities and area hospitals so patients can receive hospice care in the setting where they feel most at home, whether that is in their own residence, our 51 private-bed room at our Care Center on Wilmington Avenue; our 13 private-bed in-patient facility (near the Atrium Medical Center serving Butler and Warren Co. residents); or with one of our partner organizations.

HNCO provides comfort, support, and care for families dealing with the last phase of life. Our care team gives guidance and assurance and journeys with patients and families. Physical, spiritual, and emotional support is provided in the patient's home or where the patient lives. Palliative care is also available for those dealing with chronic illnesses, even if they are seeking curative measures. Free bereavement services, including individual counseling, support groups, and workshops, are provided for the families of hospice patients, and also to anyone in the community living with grief.
