We help to assure access to all the benefits to which a Veteran is eligible, provide spiritual support and address individual post-traumatic stress issues. Through participation in virtual Honor Flight, Veteran pinning ceremonies and special observances and celebrations, we celebrate the lives of Veterans and honor their service. On the Ohio's Hospice American Pride website, community members can enter their own story or stories about loved ones and upload photos of Veterans to honor their lives and service. The stories are searchable by name on the website and on the moving commemoration kiosk at the Ohio's Hospice of Dayton Hospice House.

Hospice of Dayton has a long-standing collaborative relationship with more than one hundred area nursing homes, assisted living facilities, extended care facilities and area hospitals so patients can receive hospice care in the setting where they feel most at home, whether that is in their own residence, our 51 private-bed room at our Care Center on Wilmington Avenue; our 13 private-bed in-patient facility (near the Atrium Medical Center serving Butler and Warren Co. residents); or with one of our partner organizations.
