Services include birth control, pregnancy tests, gynecology services, family planning counseling, STD testing and treatment including HIV testing, and school and work physicals. May be able to provide clients with a limited supply of some prescriptions written by Free Clinic physicians. Will also help clients access and complete paperwork for patient assistance programs that provide prescriptions.

Individual counseling sessions teach participants how to successfully self-manage their diabetes. Topics include an introduction to diabetes, exercising safely, diabetes medications including insulin administration, nutrition and self-blood-sugar monitoring. Appointments can be made with either a registered nurse or dietitian, or together for a Team Approach to diabetes management. Central Ohio Diabetes Association can directly bill insurance for self-management training.

Offers confidential, free, forensic examinations conducted by a nurse who is specially trained in providing care to survivors of domestic/intimate partner violence. Examinations may include documenting a history of physical/psychological abuse, assessing and documenting current injuries, and collecting forensic evidence. Provides assistance with managing chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes and asthma. Diabetes management includes help with preparing healthful meals that may change the course of the disease.

Group offering education, encouragement and support to anyone whose life is effected by an ostomy. Family members, and people considering an ostomy are welcome. Meets on odd months at Humility House 755 Ohltown Road, Austintown; and even months at St. E's Boardman 8401 Market Street in the Woodland Room. Parking is free and light refreshments are served.
