Offers a full range of audiological services for the general public. Staffed by experienced, licensed and certified audiology staff and doctor of audiology students, the Center provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services.
Provides hearing assessments, consultations, treatment and equipment for children through the geriatric population. Sells hearing aid batteries, ear plugs, and swim plugs as well. Assist in purchases and use of TTY and assistive listening devices. Also provides hearing screenings for preschool to school age children. Conduct diagnostic evaluations in a sound treated test booth to identify the type and degree of hearing loss. New computerized instrumentation is used to test the very young and those difficult to test (infants as well as older adults).

Provides audiological (hearing) assessemnts for veterans. An audiologist will make a clinical determination on the need for hearing aids and/or other hearing assistive devices. If hearing aids are recommended, the hearing aids, repairs, and future batteries will be at no charge to the veteran as long as they maintain Veterans Affairs (VA) eligibility for care.

Provides classes to teach people how to use American Sign Language (ASL). Lessons may be one-on-one to individuals, or by contract to businesses, organizations, and groups. Instruction may be adjusted to cater to those who have hearing issues as well as those who may have a special need (such as Autism) where ASL would be a preferable means of communication.

Sign Language Interpretation
Provides an early intervention program for infants and toddlers with hearing loss and their families. Services provided virtually (via cell phone, tablet or computer). If the family doesn't have a computer, the center will work with the county's Early Intervention team to bring what is needed to the home. Helps families: - Navigate a new diagnosis of hearing loss and working together to identifying strengths to help communication skills. - Understand their child's hearing loss and new hearing technology. - Learn strategies to keep hearing aids and cochlear implants on little ears. - Learn ways to support their child in developing communication skills and ways to encourage their child to be aware and understand sounds, gestures, or sign language. - Learn how to use daily routines to be the best hearing experience. - Collaborate with other therapies and programs. - Transition to preschool.

Provides American Sign Language classes.
Provides assessment, training, and treatment to improve hearing for those who are hearing impaired. Rehabilitation services focus on adjusting to hearing loss, making the best use of hearing aids, exploring assistive devices, managing conversations, and taking charge of communication. Also provides services to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Speech disorders occur when a person has difficulty producing speech sounds correctly or fluently (such as stuttering) or has problems with their voice or resonance. Language disorders occur when a person has trouble understanding others, sharing thoughts, ideas, and feelings. Social communication disorders may include problems communicating for social purposes (like greeting, commenting, asking questions), talking in different ways to suit the listener and setting, and following rules for conversation and storytelling. Swallowing disorders are feeding and swallowing difficulties, which may follow an illness, surgery, stroke, or injury.
