If required, you may have to schedule a Pap test or a breast exam before getting a hormonal birth control method. In order to obtain an IUD, we may first require an exam and a Pap test. Midwives also provide: pelvic exams, PAP tests, breast exams and scheduling of routine mammograms, family planning including birth control and emergency contraception, treatment of other concerns like yeast infections, sexually transmitted diseases, irregular periods, PMS, sexual health, menopause care and support for women dealing with depression and partner/domestic violence, a nurse advice line, 24 hour provider coverage, breastfeeding and lactation support and consultation, free pregnancy tests, and same day and evening appointments.

Provides harm reduction items that decrease the chance of opiate overdose and that may prevent illness such as HIV. Includes wound care kits (gauze, non-stick pads, antibiotic ointment, and saline), safer sex kits (condoms and lubricant), take home tests (fentanyl, pregnancy, and HIV), personal sharps container, and safer use kits for smoking (bubbler/pipe, alcohol wipes, screens, mouthpiece) as well injection (cooker, filters, alcohol pads, antibiotic ointment, saline, and bandages.

Family Planning Services include physical examinations for women, pap tests; breast exams screening and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, screening for high blood pressure, anemia, pregnancy testing, birth control supplies.

Women's and Children's Pavilion includes: general health care, pediatrics,child care, obstetrics (normal and high risk), family planning, gynecology, comprehensive health care for teen mothers and child, fetal diagnostic center, physicals, dermatology, asthma management, hearing and vision testing, eating disorder evaluation, assists with smoking cessation, and provides immunizations for Hepatitis B, Varicella, MMR, and Tetanus. Specialty Services Pavilion includes: cardiology, orthopedics, rheumatology, geriatrics, gastroenterology, neurology, ophthalmology, dermatology, nutrition, and ENT. Cancer Care Pavilion includes: chemotherapy and radiation therapy as well as other aspects of cancer care. Also located in the Outpatient Plaza is the pharmacy, which can fill prescriptions written by any Metro doctor.
