Provides free items that meet daily needs such as new or used clothing, shoes, boots, towels, sheets, blankets, curtains, personal items, small appliances, and books. At times diapers and menstruation supplies may be available. There may be a limit to the number of items per visit. NOTE: Does not offer large furniture.

Provides free, short-term loans for up to 30 days of devices such as autism sensory items, daily living aids and portable ramps based on availability.

Provide services to help people with visual impairments gain or retain employment. Services could include evaluation, vocational counseling and guidance, providing adaptive equipment, training in the use of assistive technology (ex:JAWS) and orientation and mobility (helping people get around), treatment and job placement assistance.

Agency loans assistive medical equipment to anyone in need on a temporary basis at no charge. Includes wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, toilet and personal care equipment. No electric wheel chairs, scooters or reclining beds.

Provides clothing and hygiene products to individuals and families in need including diapers, shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors, dish soap, laundry soap, and so forth. Supplies pads and tampons to menstruating individuals though United Way of Greater Lorain's Change the Cycle Program.

Provides necessary home healthcare equipment and supplies that are required by people who are coping with the effects of a chronic health condition or disability or are convalescing following surgery or illness. Offers respiratory aids and oxygen, nutritional supplements and equipment, hygiene supplies, aerosol medication supplies and equipment, sleep apnea equipment, surgical supports, ambulatory equipment, non-ambulatory equipment including lift chairs, hospital beds, and equipment repairs. Offers home delivery.

Provides emergency food assistance for individuals and families in need. Prebagged hygiene items, including toilet paper, bar soap, toothpaste, tooth brushes, and menstruation supplies are available. Provides a Pet Food Pantry sponsored by the Humane Society of Summit County, when available, for clients receiving food.

This program assists children with permanent physical and / or developmental disabilities and as funds permit, adults with developmental abilities. Limited funds are available for adults with physical disabilities. The program offers financial assistance with medical costs and equipment not covered by insurance. Examples include orthopedic shoes, braces, wheelchairs, wheelchair ramps, devices to improve mobility and communication, accessibility, scholastic performance, vision or hearing impaired needs, limited medical services and supplies. Also provides financial assistance to summer camps/enrichment for children, teens and young adults with disabilities.

Monitors contracted providers and advocates for needs of older adults. Programs include: Senior Community Services, Family Caregiver Support, Passport, Assisted Living Waiver, Ohio Home Care Waiver, Specialized Recovery Services, Senior Farmer's Market Program, Wellness Programs, Long-term Care Ombudsman.
