Provides information and answers questions on Medicaid Advantage plans (plans for those who qualify for both Medicaid and Medicare). Some plans offer standard Medicare medical benefits as well as additional coverage and services that meet the unique needs of its members. Extra benefits may include allowances for over-the-counter drugs, financial assistance with housing, utilities, food and more. Not all plans offer extra benefits, and extra benefits may vary by plan.

Provides primary care, dentistry, and behavioral health services. Accepts all major public and private insurance, and offers a sliding scale fee for those without insurance. In addition to primary care, specialty services include: HIV/AIDS Specialty Care, Trans Health, LGBTQ Relevant Care, PrEP/PEP Treatment, Women’s Health, HIV/STI Testing, Hep C Testing. The Behavioral Health team offers Psychiatry and Individual Psychotherapy. Dentistry services include emergency dental care; preventative care (exams, x-rays, cleanings, oral cancer screening, oral hygiene instruction & education); and restorative care (fillings, crowns, dentures, partials, simple extractions, simple root canals.

Administers Medicare which is a health insurance program for people age 65 and over, eligible people with disabilities and people of any age with permanent kidney failure. Hospital insurance and supplementary medical insurance are available. Recipients with low incomes and few assets may be eligible for extra help signing up for a Part D drug plan.

Provides outreach services which include transportation to medical appointments; home visiting; assistance with tax and insurance forms and applications. Also a site for the Golden Buckeye program.

Social Service Director or Senior Program Director can assist clients/families with long term care questions and resources, assist with referrals for in home care, guidance for applying for Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.

Provide Ohio Medicare beneficiaries, and those who help them, with free, objective health insurance information and other helpful services. This assistance is available through a statewide toll-free phone number, local volunteers and sites, a speakers bureau, and free literature.

Offers insurance and Medicare consultation by a certified consultant.

Offers one-on-one counseling to answer questions regarding annual Medicare Open Enrollment, upcoming changes for the next year, Medicare Part A and B benefits, the Part D prescription drug benefit, Medicare Supplement plans, Medicare Advantage plans, financial assistance, and key registration deadlines.

Offers one-on-one counseling by volunteers from the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program to review Medicare options, including Medicare supplements, Medicare advantage Plans and prescription drug coverage, as well as problem solving.

Provides certified counseling to help with Medicare issues and drug plan open enrollment. Helps older adults access services, benefits, and other programs. Provides assessment of needs and makes referrals to appropriate agencies. Advocates to resolve problems older adults may encounter with governmental and social service agencies.

Offers Medicare information, answers general questions, provides printed materials, and makes referrals to other federal agencies serving Medicare recipients and their families.

Provides Certified Application Counselors who connects consumers to Medicare and Medicaid and facilitates enrollment in both programs.

Provides enrollment counseling for MyCare Ohio, Ohio's Integrated Care Delivery System (ICDS) administered by the Ohio Dept of Medicaid. MyCare Ohio is a managed care plan selected by the state of Ohio to coordinate the physical, behavioral and long-term care services for individuals who are eligible for both Medicaid and Medicare. Enrollment is mandatory for people who are 18 or older, reside in Ohio and currently receive services from both Medicaid and Medicare.

Answers questions and provides information on securing Medicare coverage, insurance choices, Medicare rights and protections, payment denials and appeals, complaints about care or treatment and Medicare bills.

Help in understanding and dealing with Medicare is available through the Clinic. Medicare consultations are led by OSHIIP certified counselors.

Provides information on Medicare options for residents of Carroll, Stark, and Tuscarawas counties. Individuals may call to request a packet to be mailed to them to provide details on their medication and so forth, and return the packet to receive a personalized report of options available.

Offers free unbiased information and education about Medicare to current beneficiaries and those approaching Medicare eligibility.

Offers basic information on Medicare to interested individuals and caretakers. Offers individual one-on-one appointments and group seminars.
