Provides programming and information on nutrition, food safety, budgeting, babysitting, worksite wellness, sun safety, mental health first aid, and food preservation.

Offers community events with lessons on nutrition and physical activity to strive to prevent obesity by helping youth develop and sustain healthy eating and physical activity behaviors. Works with Summit County CATCH collaborative (SC3) partners to help kids develop and sustain healthy behavioral habits during the foundational stages of childhood that are critical to long-term developmental success.

Offers way to grow community garden. Program coordinator works with low-income families in developing vegetable gardens. Gardens are located at schools, apartments, neighborhoods, and partnered with may organizations. The gardeners range in age from pre-school youth to adults at senior centers. We teach healthy gardening for healthy lives.

Provides registered dietitians who can guide individuals and their families in making changes to their diet that may be required by health conditions or other circumstances. Also provides comprehensive nutrition education.

Provides multidisciplinary clinic for children and youth with a BMI greater than the 95 percentile and some other co-morbid condition. Families meet on an individual basis with a comprehensive team including a physician, dietician, psychologist and an exercise physiologist to make healthy lifestyle changes.

Offers programs for adults with limited resources to attend providing free hands-on programs that teach the basics of nutrition, meal planning, budgets, food shopping, proper food preparation, and food safety.

Provides cooking demonstrations that focus on principles of healthy eating and information on nutrition. Classes are offered by a variety of cooking and nutrition experts.
