Provides education and information about Crohn's disease or Ulcerative Colitis, known collectively as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Offers educational seminars, printed materials, membership, and support groups for persons with IBD and their families. Provides the Information Resource Center which offers information on health issues, insurance issues, and medication issues specific to IBD (does not give medical advice). Online Support Group connects people with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis who face similar challenges. Provides a summer camp for children with Crohn's or colitis.

Provides information about the West Nile Virus, a virus which is transmitted by the bite of an infected mosquito and/or rabies. West Nile Virus causes mild, flu-like symptoms in healthy people and serious inflammations of the brain and spinal cord in people who are elderly or who have compromised immune systems. Rabies is an infectious disease transmitted by animal bite to humans that can result in paralysis and death if not treated. Hotline staff can provide information on symptoms, control, and other issues related to both diseases.

Provides information, education, and advocacy to health care providers and the general public around the issue of twin to twin transfusion syndrome, including forms of TTTS called TAPS (twin anemia polycythemia sequence), SIUGR (selective intrauterine growth restriction) and TRAP (twin reversed arterial perfusion sequence). Offers educational materials about ALS and how to manage through the progression of the disease. Financial assistance available for those living with ALS who qualify.
