Provides assistance to low-income individuals who need mobility equipment such as prostheses, wheelchairs, van lifts, minor home and vehicle modifications for handicap accessibility (including walk-in showers, not walk-in bathtubs), and ramps. May also provide assistive computer technology.

Birth Defects Council, families may receive assistance with medication and supplies, adaptive equipment, gas vouchers, prenatal care, camp registration, home modifications, and lodging assistance for hospital stays.

Provides hearing assessments, consultations, treatment and equipment for children through the geriatric population. Sells hearing aid batteries, ear plugs, and swim plugs as well. Assist in purchases and use of TTY and assistive listening devices. Also provides hearing screenings for preschool to school age children. Assistance for individuals with disabilities who require assistive technology to remain independent in their homes and communities where they choose to live.

Helps pay for adaptive equipment for the visually impaired. Will pay for up to 50% or $1000 maximum benefit.
