The Wig and Mastectomy Boutique offers cancer patients wigs, Zip tees, mastectomy bras, turbans, hats, and personal care items in a comfortable, private atmosphere.

Offers adapted toy backpacks with a book and an interactive toy with an external switch making it easier for children with limited fine motor skills to use independently.

Provides fully-functional lower-limb prosthetic care for individuals who cannot otherwise afford it.

Provides computers for public use. Includes access to the library catalog, internet connection, and various popular software including word processing, resume production, and spreadsheets. Computer classes are also available.

Provides assistance with obtaining comprehensive eye examinations and eyeglasses.

Promotes effective communication in a variety of modes, including speech production, sign language, use of picture symbols, computers, and electronic communication devices, for individuals who have trouble communicating.

Provides several types of mobility and safety equipment. Items available through this program include walkers, wheelchairs (standard), bath benches, grab bars, elevated toilet seats, commodes, daily living aids, and cooling equipment (a cooling apparatus such as a vest, collar or wristband) to provide temporary cooling relief.

Provides necessary home healthcare equipment and supplies that are required by people who are coping with the effects of a chronic health condition or disability or are convalescing following surgery or illness. Offers respiratory aids and oxygen, nutritional supplements and equipment, hygiene supplies, aerosol medication supplies and equipment, sleep apnea equipment, surgical supports, ambulatory equipment, non-ambulatory equipment including lift chairs, hospital beds, and equipment repairs. Offers home delivery.

Wigs or turbans will be provided, or financial assistance given as supplies and funding are available.

Work with Individuals with disabilities to train and develop personal strengths, master living skills, overcome barriers, and utilize technologies and resources allowing them to continue living independently and productively within their home and community. The agency strives to train in the areas of assistive technologies, and work with suppliers to advocate for and represent our consumers. We also do a minimal amount of direct services.

Provides access to internet, computers, and printers for library card holders. *Assistive computer access aids may also be available including low vision screen magnification software.

Provides electric scooters and manual and power wheelchairs for older adults and people with disabilities. Used to transport or increase mobility for recipients who are paralyzed or otherwise unable to walk. Rents, sells, repairs, and customizes mobility equipment.

Offers a wide selection of books and other materials, including special collections, large print books, magazines, and subtitled video tapes and films. Provides an online catalog, access to the Internet, and a wide range of electronic databases, videocassettes, DVDs, audio books, ebooks, eAudiobooks, and other digital downloads. Printing, faxing, scanning, and makerspace services available. New Teen Tech and Esports space.

Provides a white cane to any individual who is blind or has low vision.

Provides screening and evaluations for hearing, speech, and language, and audiological evaluations. Speech and language therapy, hearing evaluations, and hearing and speech aids vary per site.

Offers hearing aid services and free hearing screenings for individuals experiencing any type of hearing loss.

Provides custom-fitted artificial limbs for patients that need them to live a productive life. Designs and other features are made available based on individuals situations and needs.

Provides primary care and other medical services. Services include assistance with medications, dental and vision care.

Can reserve private computer rooms (virtual meeting space) for video conferencing (including use for court hearings.)

Offers assistance to Clark County individuals with permanent physical/ intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Our emphasis is on children. As funds allow, assistance also to adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Limited funds are available for adults with physical disabilities. The program offers limited financial assistance in the purchases of prescribed equipment and services not covered under insurance plans or through other public assistance, also offers assistance with summer camp/enrichment fees for children, teens and young adults with disabilities. Provides Grants-to-Teachers to Clark County & City public school special ed teachers of elementary, middle and high school classrooms.
