Eyeglass Program assists Tipp City and Monroe Township residents ONLY, every two years with eye examinations.

Provides a program that loans durable medical equipment, such as wheelchairs, bedside commodes, shower chairs, canes, walkers and crutches, as available. Length of loan is 6 months, but can be extended. Wheelchair loans are six weeks. Items are available on a first come, first served basis.

Offers medical and mobility equipment to multiple sclerosis (MS) clients who qualify including: - A Cooling Kit which includes a vest worn under clothing with a variety of accessories for the neck, wrists and ankles; or - A Standard Cooling Vest which is worn over clothing. - A variety of bathroom and home safety products such as shower chairs, grab bars, and hand rails as well as mobility devices including canes and walkers.

Available inventory is always changing, but we usually have hospital beds, bedside commodes, transfer benches, shower chairs, canes, commode risers, walkers, commode safety rails, and crutches. We also have smaller items like disposable diapers/briefs, and bed pans.

Provides hip/knee replacement information and options

Provides audiological (hearing) assessemnts for veterans. An audiologist will make a clinical determination on the need for hearing aids and/or other hearing assistive devices. If hearing aids are recommended, the hearing aids, repairs, and future batteries will be at no charge to the veteran as long as they maintain Veterans Affairs (VA) eligibility for care.

Loans assistive technology and equipment. Inventory usually includes wheelchairs and portable wheelchair ramps, but items may not always available.

Lends wheelchairs and other assistive devices for those diagnosed with ALS. For registerd ALS United Ohio patients only.
